The differences in this intro in this season (1990-1991): Season 2 (episodes 2-13): Keenen gets a new pic, Kim Coles left, the song loops, SW.1 & the Fly Girls are added. Season 2 (episodes 14-26): Same intro, the photo of SW.1 & the Fly Girls are updated to include Carla.
Good take. Somebody was paying attention. I have been paying attention to the Season 2 opening intro since Fall 1990 but that was still a good take by you.
Great show. Still one of my favorites to this day. And I just learned that Klasky-Csupo (the people behind Rugrats) designed the animation in the intro. That makes me love it even more.
@@aprentissdaye FOX kept f******* with Keenen and the show and he had enough and just left and took his family with him. I don't blame him to this day.
Just sent randomly a few of my boys that lyric in a text the ones that didn't know what I was talking about.... told them to Google it when you Google it it brings you to this.
Notice, the Season 2 intro was about seven seconds shorter because Kim Coles wasn't in it. Keenan wanted to feature his sister more in Season 2 (shit, probably Season 1 too) and he and FOX decided not to renew Coles' contract after Season 1. Keenen gave Coles the excuse that she wasn't living up to her potential in Season 1. What was she supposed to do that year, with that busload of talent they had in the Season 1 cast? She did the best she could as a young comedienne on her first sketch comedy show on a major network. She was solid as Downtown Julie Brown, as a member of the Hey Mon skit, the Love Connection skit, and etc.
Egeyone oh everyone of us was in the living room watching and mom would pass with that pot of left over vegetables of the day and we 'd all get a spoon to eat till the pot was empty, Wasting valueables was not an option and it still should not be wasted, never waste! (Vegetables)

why did the theme song change in season three, this one is much better, "how would you feel knowing prejudice is obsolete". Season three talks about no need to hold your remote control! Big change.
@emergencyexit16 I'm not saying that was the only reason. The cast that emerged in season 5 (save for Anne Marie Johnson) was what caused the show's downfall. That's my personal opinion about it.
Does anyone have the song on Season 2, Episode 1? It went something like this "Tony! Toni! Toné! has done it again/It feels good, yeah, It feels good, woah, It feels good/It feels good/It sho’ feels good to me/If the rhythm feels good to you baby/Let me hear you say say (oh oh baby)/And if the rhythm feels good to you baby/Let it take you away (oh oh baby)/Mocedes the Mellow, quite a nice fellow/Met 3T, hit a rhyme, acapella" The song was Tony! Toni! Toné!'s "Feels Gold (album version)" when the Fly Girls were doing their dance routine numbers. That was in the original Fox broadcast and in syndicated repeats. If anyone has they can upload that.
Does anyone have the song on Season 2, Episode 14? It went something like this "Don't call it a comeback/ I been here for years/ I'm rocking my peers/ Puttin' suckers in hear/ Makin' the tears rain down like a Mon-soon. Listen to the bass go BOOM/ I'm gonna knock you out (HUUUH!!!)/ Mama said knock you out (HUUUH!!!)/ Shadow boxin' when I heard you on the radio (HUUUH!!!)/ I just don't know / What made you forget that I was raw? / But now I got new tour" The song was LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" when the Fly Girls were doing their dance routine numbers, in case we're believe they're swinging punches. That was in the original Fox broadcast and in syndicated reruns. If anyone has they can upload that.
This show got canceled because them heartless and uptight suits at FOX kept meddling into the show as far as censorship, bothering Keenen over what he could and could not put on the air, a secret videotape that Keenen wanted to keep away from FOX, and more. Keenen got tired of FOX'S BS and decided to take himself and his family off the show after Season 4 (Damon was already gone, he was just a recurring cast member after Season 3).
@BillyWagner13 I heard because the Wayans left and because of the fat guy (Jay Leggett). However, ironically the next sketch comedy show where a fat white guy took over (Will Sasso) turned out to be successful. Maybe Leggett was a prototype to Will Sasso...? Makes sense to me because Leggett pretty much (practically) fell into obscurity while Will Sasso is still going strong here and there.
