Exactly. I actually (slightly) prefer the taste of shake shack, but In N Out absolutely destroys every other fast food product when you consider the price. It’s literally the best bang for your buck, no questions.
It's really good but those chopped chilies, I know it's a minor thing but adding those make a double double like crack to me. I even get whole ones on the side and eat them with it too
@@Artanis667 Yup, it makes it so delicious. For me, shake shack tastes better ONLY when they have the truffle fries available. Shack stack + truffle sauce is the best combo I’ve ever had. The shack stack is a cheeseburger topped with a shroom burger (it’s a fried mushroom with a ton of cheese), lettuce, onion, and shack sauce. But every time I go they don’t have that truffle sauce anymore :(
I have always loved in n out. The fact that they haven’t increased the prices astronomically like other places, hint five guys, makes me love it even more.
Five Guys is definitely better than In N Out, but you’ll pay close to double. When it comes to the choice between in N out and shake shack though, In N out is much better. Shake shack is bland and overhyped.
i had five guys one time and it cost me $40 (i went to a location in times square nyc) i was so annoyed at how mid it was for the price. even the fries were trash
I grew up in SoCal but live in New York now. They are two different kinds of burgers. Each offer different things. I like the meat in shake shack a bit more but the over all package of in and out has more flavor notes.
Double double is the way to go! What I appreciate about In-n-out is the consistency, I’ve never had a poorly prepared DDB. Always the same fresh taste! And that is the number one reason I like the burger joint!
To you and anyone who doesn’t know you can asked for sliced chilies on your in n out burgers. It’s pepperonis and take the in n out burger from B level to A level every time
I worked one of the Fire Storms and usually the first two days you do not get to eat, so by the third day you are good and hungry, that is when the In & Out pickup shows up handing out bags of burgers, we usually grab two or three double double, you never know when you are going to eat again, and then 4 hours later he shows up again and you take two more each, I never thought I would get tired of In & Out.
They need to make a location that's not right off an interstate, acting like a magnet for travelers. I swear every time I drive by the one closest to me, the line wraps around this HUGE parking lot and sometimes even into the street! Where the right lane is now in-and-out line, some don't even realize they're in line and think it's some traffic jam
This is why Californians love in n out so much, cheap, consistent, and fresh. Is it the most insane decadent burger in history? Of course not. That’s not what it’s supposed to be
It actually might be one of the freshest fast food burgers in the entire country, and it’s one of the only places where your food actually looks like the pictures on the menu, which is almost impossible in the fast food industry.
Which is why it’s also lowkey annoying when tourist make it a “destination” spot and then get disappointed it’s not the craziest burger they’ve ever had. In n out is best experienced on a chill evening with the homies/family where you just want a simple backyard burger for a good price. It’s not supposed to be a decadent overpriced burger that blows you away, though personally, I like a simple and fresh burger
@@143Al You go to the wrong shake shack then. SS has decent meat, but their specialty is the complexity of their burgers, especially the limited flavors. All the extras are also smacking.
dude if you want fresh food go pick the shit up from the butcher and supermarket and make it yourself, fast food is supposed to taste good not healthy, the cope is crazy
Especially since it’s one of the only fast food burger chains that doesn’t pump their burgers with filler, msg, or over season their food . It’s fresh dependable and they get deliveries every day so it’s never frozen. Plus it’s a family company that gets their produce from their own farms . Bet you didn’t know that but it could of changed since the pandemic
@@davidvironet6344 OK fair nuff. I respect your opinion....totally disagree but your taste buds arent the same as mine & your In n Out isn't the same either. 🍔🍟🥤
Double Double raw onion lite tomato is the smacker. Then get animal fries with extra grilled onions. But also a Double Double whole grilled onion + raw onion lite tomato add spread is ultimate drunken burger🤟
@@shimmel796 ill give them limited flavors, like the hot ones. But they taste the same to me. exact same. difference is in n out is bigger and cheaper.
Only if you’re from Cali you like In-N-out. Lived there for 9yrs and I still don’t see the hype. It’s really a basic plain burger and the line/wait for it, is not worth it. Shake Shack is a better burger. It’s expensive but worth it.
Like shake shack line is any better 😂 in n out drive thru line is long but you can always just walk inside with plenty of parking. Also what’s wrong with a classic american cheeseburger, it’s not trying to be anything else and is consistently quality plus value across all locations. I like shake shack but I don’t see the hype either
Thank you.. I went to Cali to see what the hype was about and was VERY disappointed. The burger taste like any other burger! Shake shack taste way better and idc that it costs more 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️😊
@henrylam92 well said! I feel those who claim in n out is "all hype" don't really have any real justifications for saying so. The fact is, the hype is justified due it's consistency, simplicity, freshness and service! Go to any in n out location and u will get the exact same experience! Adding bacon and all these special sauces is just extra imo! In n out ain't trying to be extra!😂
In and out always ask for extra lettuce and tomatoes so the animal style cheeseburger grows in size and has monster crunch as u bite and more tomato blended
I like both a lot, but lately have been leaning shake shack more and more often. The Smoke Shack burger is amazing (bacon and chopped cherry peppers make for a fantastic combo!)
