Actually when the cook gets a tag they start cooking it and then the board person finishes the burger. From there since it has no fries, it goes straight to the counter. The other two were waiting on animal fries smh

In-N-Out has been around since 1948 and they still have long lines at all times of the day. If you think it's because we don't feel like walking over to Five Guys or Shake Shack, you're high. And if you're high, I really recommend In-N-Out.

The reason I love the in-N-out is because of the freshness and portions. Small enough to indulge and not too big to make me feel disgusting afterwards. The fries are better without the sauces, that's what makes them soggy.

Shake shack literally makes everything in house and fresh everyday, besides their fries and that’s only because customers complained about their hand cut fries. Shake shack is gourmet fast food. In and out is ghetto as hell

Meat never frozen, buns baked daily on site, lettuce hand sheaved, tomatoes and onions cut, etc. And potatoes peeled and cut on site right before cooking. Can't get more fresh than that. As far as ghetto comment? Makes no sense at all. You'll find In-N-Out at upscale and less upscale neighborhoods. You know the main difference? In-N-Out will have lines of customers of all socioeconomic backgrounds all hours of day and night 10 deep into 1am. Shake Shack will fill up around lunchtime then empty out the rest of the day. Their burgers are OK, but not crave worthy.

It's probably partly due to the hype and built up excitement from this video, but it was just quite mediocre. The burger I got wasn't exactly oozing cheese like Mike's. I've only had the Shake Shack Burger the only other time and that was pretty good. Quality meat. But I still prefer In-N-Out though.

One thing that always happens for me at In-n-Out, is the consistency. Whether you like In-n-Out, or not, it's totally the same each and every time. It's always clean and the staff are always way helpful. They even open the door for you if they at the door. It makes it way easier to plunk down the dollars at a place like that.

This video was so on-point. I grew up on In-n-Out since I'm from California so I championed In-N-Out for so long. But I visited the east coast and tried Shake Shack for the first time. They are both incredible -- but oh my god, the cheese and patty from Shake Shack are heavenly. I agree with basically everything you said -- how can people continue to go to chains like McDonald's when In-N-Out is so much cheaper and better tasting. Shake Shack tastes good, too, but it's too pricy for its sizing; the regular cheeseburger cost me about $9 in DC. They are both amazing, and I'm lowkey so glad there are both in SoCal, lol -- sadly the same can't be said about In-N-Out in the east coast. If money weren't an issue, I'd definitely select Shake Shack.

I like Shake Shack, but it's not the same as In-N-Out. Price difference or not. I would pay more for a good burger, but at the end of the day, In-N-Out just is good. There's a reason In-N-Out restaurants have people lined up at all hours of the day and night.

I notice whenever I eat at SS, their burgers are really good at first, and their last bite you barely want it anymore... While at In n out, after that last bite, I usually want another one. I think it has to do with the better balance of flavors of meat cheese and the veggies and bun... While the SS burgers is mostly about the meat.

Yeah shake shake I think is heavier and a lot greasier than in n out, in n out has fresher lettuce and tomatoes and the freshness of those veggies and the sauce compliments it, the shake shack is more focusing on the patty, not the whole burger itself

No shake shack here in OKC. Nor is there an IN & OUT, however about 2 hours away in Dallas/Ft Worth area of Texas they have In & Out and I've eaten those and I LOVE THEM. FRESHEST BURGERS AND CHEAP‼️ 👍👍. So until otherwise my vote is for IN & OUT. 1️⃣💜👸🏻

I also like the crinkle fries better, but your final conclusion sums up my feelings. There is nowhere, for the price, that you can get a burger as good as the In n Out Double Double, classic or animal style. So that's my winner.
