Rather than feeling very sad that Jin is leaving us soon, I feel like this song is the warm hug and reassurance to us that he will be back and will be away only temporarily. I’m still crying every now and then when I listen to The Astronaut since it is a very personal song but I try to be positive as best as I could. Also, look at Jin’s smile! He is so happy performing with Chris. That stage was such a great farewell to Jin.
Yes! This is exactly what I felt from it too. A promise that he’s coming back and loves us. But it’s still making me cry that we’ve finally reached this point. ARMY will keep on supporting and loving him, and all the members, and I’m sure he knows that💜

By the way, in the mv Chris was the news anchor guy on tv. My mom watched the concert performance too. When Jin ran into Chris' arms, she said it's like father and son lol. Cute moment for sure. 💜

I saw that you guys posted a reaction for this. I thought I would listen to it for the first time with you guys. It's actually funny because Jin was actually my first bias in bts. he's just really funny and from what i remember, always ok to be himself. that stood out to me at the time. I was introduced to them by a friend and liked them quite a bit, but just slowly, my music taste changed a little. It's really nice to hear you describing Jin from a perspective of having been army for a few years. And so you know very well how great his vocals are. I still remember when I first followed them in like 2013 or 2014, lots of people were like why is Jin in the group, he doesnt really dance well and his singing is just ok. But I always thought he must be special but also work hard to be able to have his place in bts. and obviously as the years go by, we see that he is a great dancer and singer. There are few songs that give me feelings (but maybe because we know the context of the song: its a song before he lives for the army) when listening to it. This one definitely had that sad, but comforting vibe. He is leaving, but just for now, he'll be back. I'm not army but from someone on the outside, i can feel the love they have for their fans. its definitely different when you know they literally came from a small company. i'm assuming they know they have fans from all the way back then and are extremely grateful for them. I DID NOT EXPECT TO CRY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I saw Bri start to tear up and i was like NO. Then Tori started to tear up and i was like OH NO. I think I was ok until he was pushing the girl on the bike. I do not follow them so I loved learning that they use children to represent army, that's so cute 🥺 I stan Highlight (formerly BEAST), they debuted with 6 people. Through the years bc of contract and some issues, 2 are no longer in the group. And everyone has gone to the army. In 2021 they came back with their first album after everyone (4 people) came back from the army. The song is called Not The End. lol i cried. The vibe of that song is SO comforting to someone who has been with them for a while and seen them all go to the army AND seen them all come back. The chorus says I'm still here, it's not the end. Yup. They released an album at the beginning of this year. and are coming back again in two weeks!! I'm so excited. A very different vibe from ateez, if you ever check them out on your own. So I imagine you will be so elated when bts come back! I liked this song a lot. I haven't checked all their solo works yet. I love the chorus: When I'm with you, There is no one else. Sang so beautifully by Jin 🥺
Thank you for being with them in the beginning. Its okay if you are not an ARMY, the important thing is you still respect them unlike others who start to blame boys or the fandom as a reason of leaving BTS. We all can have change in music taste. I am already waiting eagerly for them to come back even if they didn't left yet. I am sure it will be awesome same as you said about Highlight group come back. He's good at writing lyrics that portray his true emotions. I'll never understand people who have the need to belittle others. You are right that he has had to work extremely hard to be where he is at today. WE'RE SORRY WE MADE YOU CRY 😭 I hope this song comforted him as much as it did us 💜. It's no surprise to me that you guys cried because I'm just teary-eyed watching this reaction let alone the MV🥲 As you said this was the sweetest song ever especially with Jin's soft voice. It pulls at my heartstrings as well everytime I see that little girl (which is supposed to be Army as you said) with the bike and Jin just being like "You'll be fine, I believe in you" And also him holding up that painting in the end with his "universe" on it😭😭 The performance with Coldplay is so beautifully magical too. because as you pointed out, they were both enjoying it so much. I think Jin being surrounded with all those Army bombs was just like the scene in the MV with the purple galaxy. Even though I've written what feels like a very sentimental letter here I still feel like I can't put into words what this song and performance made me feel like. And I guess it's the same for all Army:)💜 We're going to miss him so much until he comes back:)) And I mean as they said "The best moment is yet to come":)💜 P.S: I remember leaving a comment in one of your videos saying that I can't wait for all of their Solos, But now it's kind of bittersweet seeing they're gonna have to leave for the military shortly after releasing them🥲
It was rough that was for sure 😭. We went in expecting to cry which didn't help us either haha. Oh yeah the bike scene still gets us. It really hits you right in the chest 😭!! You're right it's going to be bittersweet. I hope they all get a chance to convey their thoughts to us (or to themselves!) with their upcoming solos/albums. It won't make it hurt any less but at least they (and we) can be comforted just a little bit. I love the connection they share with ARMY. It's how I know it's all going to be okay in the end 💜.

This mv is so meaningful and I immediately started crying again when he started to sing... His voice is truly so beautiful ❤️ I cried so hard when I watched it for the first time, I guess I realized only then that Jin will really go to the military for some time... and this mv is somehow his promise that he will come back safely 💜💜

Hearing the speech that Chris before they sang the song, made me cry so much, and when started to sing together and that last "And i love you" from Jin with all of his strength, made me cry even more and making me start thinking about life and stuff.. And made me think that this was his last concert before he joins the army😭 Not going to forget this!!
The introduction Chris gave was so touching 😭! Jin looked like he was having the time of his life on that stage together with them. I'm so glad he was able to have this performance before leaving 💜.

What honestly sucks is that we’re gonna feel this way again 6 more times cause of the other members. And it’s like as soon as we get used and okay with one member leaving another one is gonna go and the tears start all over again like I love this song but I can not listen to it cause I legit break out in tears each time
