More like I'm defending you from myself... The American government NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER directly wanted to help the people of Iraq all they wanted to do was cripple and remove Saddam's ability to wage war military and economically, i.e. what Saddam tried to do to the Kuwait (i.e. blackmail them into submission by forcing them to pay him billions for the money they made selling THEIR OWN oil or he would invade, well they didn't cooperate so he started a war, a war that the US (and the Coalition of United Nations) ended for him. The US never were there to help the Iraqi people, it may have been sold to the masses as that, but he was to topple Saddam's regime. Hence, why the Iraqi people are suffering now, the US accomplished their mission and left. They have no more business in Iraq now, well until ISIS started up and then was put to death... So don't get the US's M.O. twisted, they did exactly what they set out to do...which was topple Saddam's regime so the Tyrant couldn't "get it the way" of us civilized people who aren't stuck in some religious fantasy, and just want to live our lives without having to worry about some psycho and his ego, not to mention that same psycho killing our people for no good reason. He needed to be stopped and was. Don't worry though the US will be back again after the next pyschos go ballastic. The US economy is just waiting for a kick start...just give them a reason and they will be back.
@Xx_CheetohFingers_xX I hope you are being sarcastic toward Maher Al Khatib of the United Arab States, as his claim of only "150 people" killed by Saddam Hussein is thousands upon thousands short.
***** You mean Saddam Hussein should've continued to rule? I disagree, but somehow it just isn't our place to decide for another country who should rule them. We could've approached things differently, with information and education. We have the means to do that even when we're unwelcome, we do it all the time in other countries with dictatorships.
+The Many Mancer i think you're taking on a little too much of the blame, i think history will show that iraqi's and what's left of saddam's regime fucked it up. intentionally. I think saddam was such a destructive force that he continued to destroy that country after he was dead and hung. He even left instructions, that were followed out on what to do after the "Fall of baghdad" he pretty much laid out a blue print for the destruction of that country, which too many baath'ists, and other people who probably saw the power vacuum open and longed for the power or material wealth he systematically raped from his country. the guy was such a bad guy, to the extent that most American's can't even appreciate. All the shit isis is doing now is the same shit his cronies did in secret all along. Done by essentially the same people, beheading is such a middle eastern cultural thing it's no doubt to me that his cronies are behind it. I think it's still yet to be seen, and often people have short memories. I doubt these new programs talk to any people who were killed by Saddam. the guy killed his own family, women, children. he may or may not had WMD, we'll never know. but he was holding his people hostage.
There's nothing wrong with America or the American people, most Americans just want to work, spent time with their families/friends, BBQ some go to church. The US government is an entirely different story
The American people have no control over "their" government. Politicians are actors and puppets who do what they're told by the real power in Wall Street, government bureacrats and JUDGES, and the military/intelligence complex. America is not a democracy.
He might have been right but he was definitely not defending Iraq, he was pleading for his own life and power. This is one of those situation of the evil you know against the evil you don't.
@@ZJC1234 Thanks for your service, even though the Iraq War was a morally corrupt invasion. Those who join the military to serve, regardless of their reasons, end up furthering a worthy cause (albeit imperfect).
Saddam was actually developing Iraq's economy rapidly before USA intervined Iraq and Syria would have less crimes , terrorism , Rapes if Saddam Hussein was alive today
@Xx_CheetohFingers_xX they said the guy who made it was a fake and it operated like a ouija board. That's totally fake. It was a piece of plastic with no bomb detecting capabilities that the creator made to scam everyone.
@Xx_CheetohFingers_xX what are you saying? The man who created the device went on trial for peddling fake information and selling a device that doesn't do anything. Did you watch the video? They showed the guy who made this device in trial. It's a piece of plastic with a metal waand sticking out of it with some paper inside. It's trash that doesn't do anything. Are you saying this fake device could work? Because it's a fake device.
@Xx_CheetohFingers_xX the defense forces want to believe otherwise they'd have to face the reality they're hoping imagination will help them. And so many people were fooled cause of the marketing. That's why the creator had a trial and was sentenced, because he misled and lied everyone into believing it. I don't understand what you're asking or stating.
@Xx_CheetohFingers_xX It makes sence that many people were deceived to beleive it's real. When people are controlled by fear (like being afraid of an i.e.d) they will beleive almost anything that's put forward to "help" them. Which is exactly how they sold so many, he took advantage of there fear.
@@hiyoutube8013 I believe the video state that the maker or initial salesman went to jail actually! awesome huh? haha but what a horrible trail left behind :/
we should have stayed and help protect muslims by beheading those who will not convert to Islam....... ww3 check Revelations love to yah :) now we gotta bomb :(
You are absolutely 100% correct. Those Iraqi soldiers ended up as unemployed masses, who became susceptible to radical propaganda, and started killing US soldiers. A point missed by the brainless "Go 'Murica" groupies. They basically created their own opposition. Fools without logic.....
alot of confused crowds in that region that dont know much about the past not realizing the music they listen to is western influenced, i feel bad considering not their fault just the confusing enviroment theyre in
You talk shit about Eastern culture, but you use cameras, go to a doctor, use mathematics, have a fucking social infrastructure, etc. Metallica is hardly 'Western'.
"Are you getting any help from the gay rights organizations in the west?" "No." This is what truly upsets me about certain groups in the west such as gay rights and feminist groups, they think that they have it bad and don't do anything to help gay people and women that are actually getting persecuted and literally murdered in the middle east.
rehman ihp how though? Animals do it so it’s not a perversion, many gay people could have any girl they want so it’s not frustration. I’d like to know where you plucked that from lol
As a muslim, the politicization of Islam is the worst thing that threatens this religion, cause at the end, islam or any other religion is a personal belief, and any one is free to belief whatever he think is right.
who said he is a tyrant he fking rebuild iraq in 6 months, poor families used to get support with 13 materials monthly. electricity and petrol was almost free and water was free. Americans dont live as good as iraqies used to look at them university graduates are in dept they send rockets to the moon while there poor are homeless and their women are selling their selves for porn industry.
+Looncan How sad when a Nation get destroyed in the name of Democracy and Freedom while the true reason is to suck their oil and to have more power in the Middle East While the people of Iraq has gained nothing better from what was before and now Even before is better for them atleast there was more security.
I would love a Part 3 of this. How things have changed even more for the worse. I am so sorry for the Iraqi people. I am so sorry for any innocent person that has lost their well-being. This was a huge insight. I wonder now, how the Iraqis feel. Peace my friends. Much love.
we feel like shit that's how we feel, and now we have to fight with ISIS which brings fighters from every fuckin country in the worlds to fight against us in our fkn land
That is a very noble thing of you to say, to appreciate the horrors the innocent population of Iraq have been through. The way they see it yes Saddam was a snake n had to be removed but not in the haphazard way the US & the UK principally did it. They cut off one snakes head but another 10 have appeared now 😔. If there was no clear plan to maintain a functioning structure in Iraq after removing Saddam, then they shouldn't have lied about WMD'S and gone in and destroyed the whole system in place and with it millions of lives lost let alone others irreparably damaged and displaced.
I’m an American born Iraqi I got to visit in 1997 I’m catholic... I’m not allowed back I only wish one day my son will be able to walk the dirt of my country. Listening to the men pray to God is very peaceful to me. Even though I was born in the USA I feel a calmness when I hear it. We all miss Saddam that’s the real truth. Saddam was a good leader he made sure My people(Chaldeans) were always taken care of.
I understand that Saddam was a cruel dictator and an evil person. However in the vacuum of power left many groups struggling for power including ISIL. A terror group MUCH worse than Saddam. Iraq and Vietnam are two wars the U.S should never have gotten involved in.
thetoughguy jr. The world wide population of Kurds are around 30 million, most Kurds live in Turkey which is around 15 million. In Iraq it is about 10 million people.
@@mrg8890 Actually, Iraq is much much better now! I can't believe how much worse Baghdad was! Now people hate Islamic militia groups and the face of Baghdad is changed completely, as the past there are hundred of music groups, night clubs and these things all over Baghdad, at the time of this report Islamic parties was controlling the whole country, thanks god things now is going better slowly!

Agreed, his cronies got trillions by "reconstructing" Iraq... Meaning lining their pockets and leaving Iraq in total disarray. Our now huge national debt went straight into our politicians pockets.
I live in Iraq. We are completely fucked up after Saddam Hussien.. I don't know how did they said that we have a more freedom now after Saddam I remember the 2003's war between Iraq and US.. At this time I was 3 years old and I was too scared don't know what exactly is happening our house was very dangerous so we left it and our street was full of soldiers they were shooting in the air and I saw some lights in the sky It's was a really bad time I just wanna get the hell outta of here and live somewhere away from Iraq.. I have seen many bad things in my life which make me not even proud to be Iraqi... JUST ASKIN THE GOD TO GET ME OUT OF HERE
I love heavy metal in Baghdad and it was so great to see this follow-up piece it's amazing how much is improved and how much the culture seems to change
Yeah, singing about sure dog faced corpse and thinking that Saddam's era was better. Yep real improvement there. A country can't move forward if it only thinks about its past which was still horrible to today's standard.
I know it's awful but I can't stop laughing at that stupid 'bomb finder' and the C4 business card. Holy shit that's unreal. It looks like an RC car controller from '85. Sorry Iraq, that's a damn shame
we already know that since it came they failed in the test but there are some benefits to the government it's just one scam of thousands there are over a billion dollars missing from the country safe this is what happened after the invention
WoWplayer527 little did we know what was to occur to iraq after the liberation from the tyrant saddam. Maybe it was best if he were still in power, no terrorist existed in his state, we know he did not have wmds, the war was a sham, we were sold a sham. Now look at the region
***** Wouldn't be surprised, many people fled when ISIS got close but Baghdad i still very well controlled by the Iraqi Army, ISIS doesn't have a chance of touching it as of right now

Well what would happen if somebody that believed in Sharia Law went and killed Obama and other politicians because they believe you're living life the worst way possible, with agony and destruction. How would you feel? Besides there was no need to invade or help a Coup in any country Iraq went from a OUTSTANDINGLY DEVELOPED NATION to the most dangerous, poorest, lamest and shittiest country on Earth, same with Libya and Egypt. Let me ask you something else, WHY did Iraq's and Libya's gold reserve disappear when the new "Democratic, Capitalist, American" government arrive? Aren't you SUPPOSE to fix the nation? Not steal it...
Loki Savage it doesn't matter what the fucking plan was, the fact that u executed it badly and made everything worse. I am Shia myself, and saddam killed thousands of us, but it was better then than it is now. Since u fucks came in and decided that u wanted to 'help' u ruined everything the great country had.
So u say this shit to convince urself that u can do no harm. The plan was to topple the govt, take control of the oil n made sure that they fight each other. that way u dont have to pay real money to buy oil. u just have to handed them some broken ass weapon n get the Oil in exchange. n by this way u can destroy country after country like this who has Oil n natural resources in middle east. i dont believe in HELL but if there is one u guys already book the first place. they way u explained the plan of urs tell everyone how properly well educated u guys really r. before u talk shit about Iraq i wanna say GOOD JOB, only a real EVIL person can do what u guys have done. Made a dictator look like an angel. that sums up it all how amazing u people really r. Bring peace n trust everywhere u go. Every place u guys involve last 50 years with ur military r now a heaven compare to what it was before. Pat urself back n i hope u have the best sleep. i know u guys can sleep through anything. just eat n shit, its what u guys can do better. the next fight is climate change, because its a hoax made by China, right.
I dont think there will be peace in the next 40 years. ISIS, Economy, Government.. These things need to be done first.. And we hope, here in Europe, no more Iraqi and other nationalities will come here anymore..
***** You're absolutely right. The Iraqi refugees should go to America and leech paychecks off the US government. Europeans in fact disagreed with the Iraq war. They don't deserve this.
dragon888193ftw Yup. True! US started this whole shit. Now, they dont want to do anything (apart from bombing them). Due to the next year`s election nobody want to jump into a war over there.. If the rep. win they will probably smash those mother fuckers. I also totally disagree with the EU`s refugee politics.. We should protect our borders, not let them in. Slowly but they will destroy our cultures, religions, and everything that we ve built in the last 1500 years...
The amount of shit going in Iraq which is covered in this short documentary is a tiny slice of the shit-cake we have daily. We are equal to the other nations merely by having internet... And it's shitty too.
As an American who was only a child during the time USA invaded and occupied Iraq, it breaks my heart hearing and seeing how we hurt the country and it’s beautiful people. I hope the Iraqi people can find it within them to understand many Americans do not support what our country did in those years; and we are sorry.
Glad to hear Acrassicauda's going strong, despite the extreme difficulties. I've been following them since the first documentary and their upcoming album sounds great!
remember when the journalist threw his shoe at Bush during the news conference? 1. what do you think would have happened to that man AND his family for doing that to Saddam? 2. Why did he get the courage to throw his shoes now? Because he knew he would not be killed- that's the difference. If you would like another dictator be careful what you wish for.
This was not the downfall of Saddam..it was the downfall of "Iraq" and now people have to call "saddam's Iraq" was heaven then so called democratic Iraq currently.....don't blame USA nor arabia or israel....they wanted the same but blame iraq civilians who killed their own mighty hero......R.I.P legend thoug i am not iraq citizen but i am big fan of your grip and politics in controlling you county cuz he had to attain dictatorship cuz there are so many circumstances in the county like iraq who would never let to develop but look back how saddam had grip over them n how he was running iraq so smoothly.......but i know he did something bad too but.............respect him..now it's all over..now i think iraq will take very very long time to recover may be after the complete vaccum of oils...
The last sentence of the Iraqi guy its brilliant: "they (muricans) make Saddam look like an angel..." In other words, life was Paradise in Saddam time compared with the present day , when murica rule... No more comments needed after this, indeed... Great documentary....
When you are living under someone like Saddam, you learn the ground rules and if you don't oppose the state, you are pretty much free to live your life. You may have to pay a bribe once in a while and if you are Shia, there is discrimination, but all are agreed it was 100% better then the anarchy that resulted after the American occupation. What is really diabolical, is that this was all perfectly predictable. Given Iraq's history and fragmented ethnic lines, lack of central control and disbanding the army would give you just what we saw.
Beautiful work, guys - I am extremely sad and depressed watching this, not becuase i knew nothing of it, I've certianly followed it all over all these years (it now being 2018) - but I'm touched by your handling of the material, the truthful naturalness and sensitivity you bring into it. Bravo.

You'll not see Iraqi Muslims having problems with Hindus/Brahminiansif we had Hindus in Iraq, there would be a Hindu temple for them. :) It all about respect and honor.
Being the son of a US Army LTC (Retired), I have the utmost compassion for these poor soldiers that were deceived into thinking that this was for "our freedom". They trusted our government (which we SHOULD be able to do) and it cost them their lives, their sanity, and a chance at a normal life. War does terrible things to people, especially when the cause is far from just. My heart goes out to all the soldiers that gave themselves to this evil group of people that cares nothing of America.

this is the main issue with democracy. you have to worry more about looking good and fulfilling political promises rather then actually finishing the solution that was already starting to work, and because of 4 year terms most presidents don't actually give a f### what happens afterwords, as it won't be their problem.
