A wee trip on me birthday, in search to get to one of the remotest pubs, Staying @niaroo cottage as a base a few days whilst driving about, Day 1 was a trip to Glen Affric, Day 2 was a drive to Mallaig, then to catch a boat over to Invernie and a quick beer in one of the uniquest remotest pubs, not only is it’s unique in the 2 ways you can get there, ( by boat or 2 day 18 mile hike ) but also because the locals have saved the pub with a Community buyout in March, and a lovely pub it is too, the local residents in the village bought stake to save the pub from closure, locally brewed beers and spirits and live music this place has a great setting and atmosphere, our last day was a scenic drive only to find a cracking pub The Glenelg Inn, lovely local village atmosphere.. big shout out to Baz’ .. AKA.. Bowler/Basildon/Bazzaroo .. for accompanying me and getting the drone footage over Glen Affric, ✌️🙏
