Great video. fantastic fishing.

Sorted our own fishing plan, but used Himalayan Outback as resource/support, can highly recommend them. Seven people fishing ? sounds alot, on a trip up North. Simple spoon worked best for us, but jointed rapalas very good, just get the strongest hooks you can. When not spooked easy fish to get a take, landing them is another thing ! Getting the timing right is critical, we got it just right this time, but i have been before with just a 6lb fish for 12 days fishing. Good luck !

Used daiwa Exceller 11ft spinning rods, with daiwa saltist spinning reels, most casts made across current, then a slow retrive, current brings lure in at an arc, then moved a down a few yards and cast repeated

Yes its getting very popular, had a few small ones on the fly, but have heard them been caught to 27lbs Misty from the Himalayan Outback is a Mahseer fly fishing nut and has all the low down.

Thiss is at NEPAL...THE BEST PLACE TO VISIT .

Can I ask what rods/reels you guys used? I thought I heard BlackRock at one point. Also, how did you cope with the swift running water in terms of lure action? Just upstream and straight retrieve through the drift?

Try Karnali River in Nepal Season Starts from Feb end and ends may last before the monsons. I got my 36 lb here in Cauvery river in december i have posted same in you tube let me know if u plan to come this side of india.

@ellora5 Mahseer can be caught on plugs, spoons and spinners, just upgrade the trebles
