This is a great video if you want to understand the fundamentals of dynamic balancing. Using a laser pointer reflecting off the mount and onto the wall (to amplify the error) is a good idea. Seems like you could use a set up like this for initial testing to determine whether a balancing effort was even required. Thanks for the video.
