I was looking at the iD7 Tourer on Leaseloco today, with a slightly larger deposit and 8,000 miles per year. The quote came in at just £306 per month! Stunning... I even went to the local VW dealership and sat in an iD7... What a stunning car for only a few pounds per month more than I pay for my Citroen E-C4.

I’ve seen one Crystal white Genesis GV70 on the M25 and I have to say it’s absolutely stunning. Never seen one on the road and I fell in love with it. Brown leather interiors too. What a car! Had a quick chat with the driver at the junction (roadworks going on 🙄) and he’s getting a lot of attention apparently. Not surprised!

Hi Jim, I had ALA gap on my motorcycle. It got written off, they paid back to Invoice price. Only minus was they didn’t pay first registration fee. which is the norm.

Id7 is my personal favourite. I drive a Mercedes 220d AMG premium line I bought nearly new in 2018. It’s done 70k miles so starting to consider EV but want an estate. MG not really up to Merc standard but that ID 7 might be the one. Was hoping Merc or Audi would get their versions out sooner. Never bought a new car but leasing at these prices means you can pretty much test having an EV.

Thxs Jim, just picked up a Nissan ARIYA for a really good deal. Last few in stock but only the fancy paint left so will cost £25 more than advertised - but a perfect mum bus. Used your link and will get gap insurance aswell.

Cheers for the ongoing stream of interesting car videos. ... and the inimitable humour too. That's appreciated. I particularly like these bargain ones. Lots of nice cars in there. E-3008 is nice, but E208 still looks a little bit better. Agree ID7 is the best looking in VW ID range. BMW i5 is also gorgeous.

After watching you for a while and getting the leaseloco emails. I leapt in on Tuesday and ordered an ID7 Tourer on 8k miles 9+23 at £276 a month 😊

I think the discounts have been more consistent this year throughout the year but I’m sure there’ll be one or two special deals in December

Not really but I'd say that to reduce the opportunity cost as much as possible then perhaps a smaller up front payment is wiser.

I found the same problem with Leasing Options you mentioned in the video....with the e308. Expecting: in stock, at price (per advert) Options actually available: 1. December delivery, at price 2. In stock, +£30/m for the colour available. Very frustrating. I did raise it with LO but would like to report it to LeaseLoco. What's the best way to do this? Perhaps LeaseLoco should have a "report deal" button.

I test drove the renault scenic. Boot sounds big but it is a really narrow, boot. It is a very high boot - so for me not that useful. Got an ID7 on this deal instead -

Leaf deals could improve even further Jim, as it has now ceased production.... And some MG dealers are now flogging off old stock but new new MG ZS EV's at £10k off list, to clear the showrooms for the new upcoming model......

If you have a lease for 3 years and after 18 month's you want to hand the car back, what sort of charges are there likely to be to come out? Do you have to pay up the whole lease normally?

Most are so far behind; decent ICE are becoming expensive rocking horse and BEV will be loads cheaper still come the Qtr4 offers, and then even cheaper still as Q1 '25 pre reg! Chinese already diverting new launches and supply volume here given EU October tariffs too...

@@DefinitelyNotAGuru For the general public I agree i think not, but for dealerships with registered vehicles looking to offload to lease companies it means we get such excellent deals if you're in the market for a new lease. My company car is leased through Arnold Clark who are expensive right up to number plate change months and just before vehicle face lift or new model releases when all of a sudden you can get much more for your money. 👀👀
