@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce Yeah I do have a vested interest in false narratives about a country I live in, and as a man in it. The narrative that women are suppressed in our country is false in the 21st century. Just to a qui k search of this African Ameri an scholar and you'll see what I'm talking about, stick to the truth and people will listen. Thomas Sowell, wage gap between men and women. This isn't a personal attack on you but rather a citizen trying to spread truth.

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess, "Will you marry me?" The Princess said, "No!" And the Prince lived happily ever after, and rode motorcycles, and dated thin, long-legged, full-breasted women, and hunted and fished and raced cars, and went to titty bars and dated ladies half his age and drank whiskey, beer, and Captain Morgan, and never heard bitching and and never paid child support or alimony, and dated cheerleaders and kept his house and guns, and ate rare steak, venison, bacon, eggs, butter, and beans instead of tofu and vegan patties, and blew enormous farts, and had his own weight room and pool table, and went on awesome vacations and camped all summer, and never got cheated on while he was at work, and all his friends and family thought he was friggin' cool as hell, and he had tons of money in the bank, and left the toilet seat up. A lot of men should take heed of this tale and pursue a life of self improvement, modesty and accomplishment. There is no need these days to settle down and have a family. Our culture has changed. Being a provider is no longer respected and often not required. Make friends, make love and leave the heartache for the fools.

@@Rampart.X hahaha - well, given the amount of unpaid domestic labor the world is depending on women to provide at their cost, is it any wonder? These days, we're definitely after more equitable partnerships. There are definitely awesome men out there able to step up - I'm married to one. It's been almost thirteen years, we're raising two great kids, both working full time and picking up where the other leaves off. Teamwork and partnership isn't for everyone, though.

@@Jay-de7pn marriage is a partnership. The alternative is everything getting taken from her. This is why most states divide fairly close to 50/50; it doesn't make sense to deprive one of 100% when it's a joint venture

@@Rampart.X each family is responsible for setting up a balance that works for them, for both paid and unpaid domestic labor. I could say the same thing. @doraemon402
@doraemon402 Месяц назад
@@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce "Everything taken from her"? TF you talking about? Women's bank account is her money but his bank account is "our money". You leave with what YOU have. "Simply earns a paycheck" vs "works, takes care of a home ..." Clearly inflating the merits of cleaning a kitchen and sending children to school while completely devaluing a man working 8+ hours so the family can survive. I've taken care of a home before, it takes two hours a day + 1 extra if you cook something that takes time. But, of course, the lack of ability to optimize makes it look like actual work to you. But if he "just earns a paycheck", don't expect any help taking care of the kids or fixing anything broken around the home... Ya'll claim you deserve 50/50 when you don't even do 20% and claim the system is against you when it gives you well over what you deserve. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce
@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce Месяц назад
@@doraemon402 you're definitely over inflating the merits of earning a paycheck. In any case, the balance of labor in a marriage and family is a joint decision that both parties are responsible for. Don't want a SAHM? Don't set up that balance in your home. Find a partner who is career oriented. There are advantages and disadvantages no matter what you and your partner decide, but when it comes time to divorce it'll all be considered.

The wage gap is simply the average earnings of men and women working full time. It does not count for different job positions, hours worked, or different jobs. It has nothing to do with the same job. It has nothing to do with discrimination. Edit: btw in every major U.S. city women are now out earning men.
@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce
@YourGirlfriendNeedsaDivorce Месяц назад
@@jacobnelson6042 I don't think it's just discrimination. I think a lot of it has to do with hard decisions families face regarding raising children. Because childcare is so expensive, many women end up working part time, working from home, working in lesser paying but more flexible jobs, etc - all to meet the demands of parenthood. Then, it's harder to get back on the ladder, so to speak, and achieve what you would have earned otherwise. There's also a motherhood penalty (and a fatherhood bonus), and the fact that women are promoted and given raises less often. It's not one factor - like discrimination - it's a whole system.
