Hey, I will keep you in my prayers Mary. 🫂 sending you a hug. I struggle from OCD and for the last 9 months I’ve also been feeling so low… but we’re all here to pray for each other. Life is beautiful and God is good. I pray he reveals that to you even during the smallest moments.

Jesus said it was given because of the hardness of humans' hearts. It was not what God had meant for us. God does not love brokenness and sin, and if you consider what divorce entails, then you'll understand it better.

@@laugustam Good morning Laura. Thanks for your comment, but my thoughts doesn't change at all other than to say that when we marrying as believers, what are we saying when we divorce.

@@gladyshicks6539 well, I think it's important to understand that Pastor Matt did not approve of divorce he simply said that there is forgiveness and there is. Think about the people who married and fully expected to spend the rest of their lives with that person and then they ended up in a situation of abuse or physical abuse or child abuse or in some cases total abandonment. Sometimes their partner walked out and is now living with another partner and so what are they supposed to do???? We have to remember not to put stipulations on Christians that the Bible and Christ himself did not put on christians. If the Bible States clearly that you may get a divorce if there is infidelity or abandonment or physical abuse, and it gives the believer the right to get divorced and get remarried and be in a better situation that is more biblically sound, then who are we to tell God that he's wrong about that? Is divorce an unforgivable sin? It most certainly is not and to condemn those who have had a divorce and make them think that they do not have forgiveness in Christ and that they are now marked as a broken vessel who is condemned to hell, is not only unbiblical....... But it's also mean and hateful. And I find that usually people who have good relationships where they have had the normal struggles but they haven't had anything actually strike their marriage like constant cheating or their spouse beating the crap out of them or their kids. It's so easy for them to sit on their high horse and make a judgment but it's a whole lot different when it's you

In other words what I'm saying is, usually hypocrites sit back and look at their perfect little existence and think that nothing could ever happen to them like what has happened to some others and then once they actually face the same problems and walk in that other person's shoes, then their true colors shine through and they find out that things aren't quite as simple as they thought they were and usually that makes them awfully quiet

I can tell you miss Gladys that I was in a relationship with a young lady that I was very much head over heels in love with and she walked out on me one day with a drug addict and the two of them went on a drug-addicted sex capade for about 5 years and she ended up catching STDs and thank goodness we didn't have any children because what would they now think of their mother who by the way died of a drug overdose two years ago. She was found on the bathroom floor of a McDonald's with a needle in her arm what a wonderful picture for her children to have seen if we had had any and how wonderful would it have been if I had ended up catching something trying to win my wife back and ended up with autoimmune disease as well. It seems to me that wouldn't have been God's will for my life and that's why he said clearly that we could get a certificate of divorce and once that certificate was signed we were to never return .... God was even kind enough to give specifics..... So that I wouldn't be guessing when it was okay and when it wasn't okay

As a Hispanic person who fluently speaks English and Spanish, I could be offended and take umbrage with your comment and how you presented it, but I agree with you. It seems as if they’re just using the Spanish speaking people as their tokens when it isn’t a Spanish speaking service.

USA is actually a country that speaks many languages. In fact People in the U.S. communicate in more than 350 languages. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, some of the most widely spoken languages other than English are Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Arabic. Diversity is BEAUTIFUL! And makes feel everybody welcome and that they belong ❤

I don't understand why it's a problem. It's a beautiful language. The scripture is on the screen in English. They are being inclusive. And promoting their Spanish speaking small group ministry. I don't speak Spanish. But I can still appreciate it. I wish I was bilingual. I hope they keep doing it and in more languages, to expose us to other cultures. My personal opinion.

Hey not for nothing but I hate to tell you this your racism is showing my friend whether you realize it or not..... You think just because we're in America that everybody needs to cater to your English and that we shouldn't accommodate any other languages in this country? I mean the Lord forbid you should pick up your Bible and read along in English so that your sensitive little sensibilities don't get offended. Ridiculous is your poor attitude about the reading of God's word in another language at church...... And if I may, you don't have to listen to any of this do you? I don't see anyone holding a gun to your head...... The audacity of some people who call themselves Christians and claim to be God's people and yet carry around the ugliest for the others almost as if you think you have walked through the narrow gate but then you want to turn around and prevent anyone else from coming in.... Sorry my friend but disgusting!
