If he gets better as an actor, he could be a massive movie star! Luckily, Road House is a perfect movie to not be super polished - made it feel more like the awkward and classic timing of some scenes in the original.

i loved the movie! Conor was spectacular! I would like to see him as a bad guy again. Epic bad guy. The action was so realistic. Great job by the director and cast!

McGregor's acting is proper shite. I understand why getting a big name into a fighting movie makes sense. But the movie would have been better if they had just hirsed an actual actor to be McGrogor.

I agree and disagree - the original Road House is pretty full of bad acting, and it’s a cult classic. I think mixing in great actors and trying to create more complex dialogue on top of McGregor’s fresh acting debut but physical prowess and action sequences didn’t really work. I think Connor could be a really big movie star if he improves his acting though.

This shouldn’t have been based on the on the original one. Because it was horrible. The original was more realistic, serious, and well organized based on the story of the characters.

This movie didn’t need to be made. And shouldn’t have been made. It’s awful in every conceivable way. Jake Gyllenhaal must have owed someone a favor to do this terrible movie.
