This song makes a nice opener to a singing circle, inviting participants to enter into a space of safety, care and co-regulation. It's an invitation to come as you are, lay down your cares, and let yourself be held.
And what is there to hold us, as we sing? So many things... There is the song itself and there are the dear ones we gather with, showing up in authenticity. But beyond these things, there is also the present moment, which I here envision as a circle, also holding us all.
