This was a bit of a breakthrough for me, as I've been sketching close to this style for a couple of years, off and on... but on this night, it seemed to come out of nowhere, totally unplanned and 100% intuitive painting.
I apologise that I recorded it in portrait! I hope it doesn't take too much away from the experience. I have done a 'sibling' painting to this called 'Briar Rose' which is destined for Skillshare, but If you'd like to develop a painterly style, let me know, as I would happily share more of these paintings with you! :O)
