The house looks like an art museum. Casey acting like an 18 year old when she's 25 and the middle aged man thinking he's hip. Great ending. The movie itself was nonsensical tbh.
First time watching it looks good. And they didn’t have to kill her she was dying. Money and greed. Did anyone else notice Lisa kudrow aka phoebe was in it 😊
I knew it was a set up when the Power was cut off and she tried Firing the Gun but No Bullets. Not to Mention the Phone was Dead. He chose a "Child" over his Sophisticated Caring and Loving Wife who took care of him. I wish they had chosen another actress to play the Daughter. This one behaved more like a Teenager. They had No Real Relationship and were still fooling around like when they were sneaking around. Can't believe he was screwing his Wife's minor Daughter.
Much respect and encouragement for your political pursuit of light, truth, and transparency within this and the multitude of other political scandals under Trudeau's Liberal government.
Well, i saw THAT ending coming, from the moment the mother whispered to Howard, in the Hospital bed. Then he offered to organise the funeral.Way too predictable ....
I figured this one out immediately. At least I hoped I was correct, and I was. I removed 3 people from my life this week. Not as extravagant, but effective.
Favourite line, from mother's (L-A Down) funeral: Female mourner says (to Bostwick) " It's just the two of you now, (step father & step daughter), comfort one another "... & they certainly do. (in the next scene). It might have been a harrowing experience, when a woman is confronted by a hooded (showing the eyes) intruder. That aside, I would say that a woman would recognise the eyes of her own daughter? I suppose it would depend on the distance between them. Comments are not in script order, can't be bothered to edit.
*SPOILER ALERTS* What did you think? I'm enjoying it so far ... 30 minutes in. I've no idea what's going to happen, not a clue! Well, a couple of ideas but they'll be in replies to this. 😉
Possibilities: (30 minutes in): - *she's still alive* - that was her *ghost who put on the kettle.* But no, doesn't seem to be a ghost story. - *someone's watching them could be anyone; am guessing it's a private eye.* Clearly, there's going to be payback for the two killers.
Barry Bostwick is not suited this role in any way! The acting of both main characters is forced and unnatural so it’s hard to get really get into the movie. Not my favorite Barry Bostwick film, at all….😒
