Thanks for being here guys. It was certainly a wild day as we decided if it was necessary or not to go to the hospital. I'm just really glad we did. We hope you have a wonderful day today. Have a great monda and an even better week!
Some people are hesitant or embarrassed to go in. BUT even if nothing ends up being wrong, having mama reassured everything is ok brings her stress level down which is so much better for mama and for the baby rather than worrying at home. Glad you got checked!
My heart really feels for Ellie. What a freaking warrior this woman is and continues to be. I’m so sad to hear that previous experiences have made Ellie doubt or tell herself that it’s probably nothing when in her heart she can feel when something is or isn’t wrong. Sending all the love for mama and baby girl, and all the warmest wishes to Tommy that he starts to feel himself again. Being sick sure is no fun!
Ellie don't you ever question yourself when you feel uneasy. You're the one who is in charge of baby girl so being cautious is absolutely understandable. So glad she's okay
I’m a high risk antepartum/postpartum nurse and my advice is to alwaysssss listen to your body! There’s no harm in getting checked out! Praying for you and baby girl ❤
All three of my boys pregnancies were almost identical. My daughters though was very different. Always listen to your gut. Praying for you Ellie and Jared. Sending so much love!
I may be wrong, but whenever I watch a video, I get this feeling sooooo deeply in my heart that many of Ellie's issues are related to her underlying anxiety. Your body holds onto all of our fears, worries, past traumas and it shows up at weird times and in painful symptoms in our bodies.
Yes!!! This a million times over. Some great books are "Feelings Buried Alive, Never Die" by Karol Truman And "Your Body's Telling You: Love Yourself" by Lise Bourbear Your body holds onto *everything*, which then causes weakness in the body, that then allows disease and all sort of symptoms to set in. So for people who have something wrong, but doctors find nothing, there's a good chance it's emotional.
@@jaybabies328 Not just in her head though, she was actually having contractions they just weren't strong enough to make her go into labor. Definitely glad she went in to get them checked out.
The fall/winter illnesses this year has sucked! We've been sick for about 3 weeks and it's still lingering around. Colds, chest colds, stomach bug, sinus infections and more... So ready to be fully better
I had prodromal labor with all three of my pregnancies for 2-4 weeks before they were born. Definitely not fun and scary to have that at 33ish weeks. Glad you went in and got checked out and baby girl Mecham is doing good. Poor Tommy, I hate when my kids are sick. You're family is in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to your next video.
My sister had my niece @ 32 weeks and spent both Thanksgiving & Christmas in the nicu 4 years ago. The closest one was 1-2 hrs way. She's currently 20 weeks pregnant with her 2nd and they are concerned that this one will come earlier then that.
This was me 4 weeks ago at 34 weeks. I’ve now made it to 38 weeks today and have a hospital appointment tomorrow. Never worry about going in to get checked and monitored!!
Praying for you guys ❤️🙏 Ellie has been a trooper with everything she’s been going through and I know it’s been hard for you too Jared. Love you guys and can’t wait to see baby girl in January!
I cried from the start to end of this one.... Praying so hard for you guys! I went into early labor with my daughter at 22 weeks. Thank god the doctors were able to stop my labor but at 33 almost 34 weeks i went into labor again and after two steroid injections my sweet girl entered the world at 34 weeks. She was in the nicu for the longest 12 days of my life and now in January we will be celebrating her fourth birthday!
Bless you guys and your sweet family. Little baby girl will be here when it’s her time. Praying you won’t have to suffer through this discomfort again before she comes.❤
I went to the hospital with my 4th thinking she was coming and got sent home. It was so frustrating! I also felt like I should have known what was happening, since I’d been through it 3 other times. Hoping you are feeling better!
Ellie I know how you feel about going to the Drs and hospital all the time. Please follow your gut and don't let anyone dismiss you. I'm going through similar experiences but with different health issues and it has not been easy. Hope you, baby girl and Tommy will be okay.
So sorry your going through this! With my fourth I was under a lot of stress so my body went into prodromal labor at 34 weeks and I had it 2 more times before I delivered at 36 weeks. Rest rest rest, keep that baby cooking! My guess is that she will come before 38 weeks, but who knows! The human body is crazy! Good luck and looking forward to seeing a healthy baby girl!
This is exactly how I was last night. 38 weeks and experiencing pains for over 24 hours. But my toddler has the flu and a horrible temp. Had to leave her with my mum and drive myself in the snow to be checked out as partner is over 2 hours away. However, no baby but still contracting.
I had those kind of contractions from 28 weeks til my scheduled C section with my twins at 38 weeks! I went twice to the hospital during that pregnancy to check things out too. I remember It was very uncomfortable and I remember feeling worried every time I felt it. Now I look back and think- that was just a prologue to what was to come with these two kiddos! Never a dull moment with them 🤣🤪
Keep you all in my prayers! I've watch your youtube videos since I was 11 and I'm now 19, going to be 20 in 6 months. You all have gotten me through some hard times!
Exact same thing happened with our little ones. They were sick, it went away and then returned a week later. Did not stay as long the second round but same symptoms. Craziest thing! Hope all gets well❤
Ellie you’re doing amazing! I’m 37 weeks pregnant, went in the other day for consistent contractions, and they sent me home after hours! Seriously cannot wait to meet my little girl! You and Missy are my inspiration during these times!
I'm at work but I'm going to watch when I get home. I had both of my kids premature. My daughter at 34 weeks and my son at 30 weeks. Much love and prayers.
You guys are troopers! It's always a case of 'when it rains, it pours'. I hope Thommy feels better soon. If it's anything, Ellie, you look cute in your glasses!👌 My prediction is you'll have baby early, maybe 37 weeks - just having fun guessing! I'm no medical professional. I think so, though, because it's your 4th full pregnancy, so likely to be earlier and also because you're already contracting. Sorry to hear you're so frustrated with going back and forth to hospital! Hopefully things start levelling out a bit once baby girl is born and you get back to being and feeling more like yourself again. Stay strong! 💪💐
I had that feeling if tightness and feeling not right turned out I got preeclampsia and hypertension at 35 weeks 4 days. You're doing good Ellie just keep monitoring baby and yourself 💕
I will be 30 weeks this friday with my first and I fear going into labor early often especially when I'm alone... sending you positive vibes Ellie And Jared💓
Praying for you all especially you Ellie! No health care professional knows our body better than we do ourselves. You are such a strong woman and a phenomenal mother.
Ellie Please try feverfew tables. Feverfew is promoted for fevers, headaches, and arthritis; topically (applied to the skin), it's promoted for toothache and as an antiseptic and insecticide. Feverfew has been called “medieval aspirin” or “aspirin of the 18th century.”
We had that same sickness go through our family last month. The kids would run a temperature and then it would be okay for a while then it would go back up again. This month it’s better.
