In this first episode of "In The Hot Seat", we have Abdullah from @directtyresauto7514 join us for a drive and chat about the issue of driving test participants failing their tests even before they begin.
I'm on my learners but Wow yous r so good at multitasking. I mean talking while driving, I try not to zone out while my instructor is talking to me which barely happens cause I can't zone out!
Hi @Ajinomotoo, with practice the mind is freed up from some of the more simple driving tasks making room for multi-tasking. That being said, talking while driving does distract from general driving and hazard awareness so should be kept to a minimum :)
@@SocialDrivingAcademy OMG AM I GLAD I FOLLOWED YOUR ADVICE: Monday I had my restricted driving test, weather was terrible - wet and cold and the front headlight had gone out! Managed to change it before the test and passed the test to boot!
This was so helpful aye.theres more to a car than just driving it, the maintenance of it is important and how to use the bells and whistles of inside and outside. I always use hot mist for my windows in the morning so I'll switch to cold now. I got my car a CPL months ago but I have no idea when the service is due on it there's no sticker is there anywhere I can find out online? Also for my brake lights I don't always have someone to help me check so I use a shop window or somewhere I can see the reflection of my lights and test that way.
That's some really good tips @Brucza. Using a shop window is a great idea for checking those rear lights when you don't have someone else to help you checking them. I too actually set the temperature on warmish to help demist the windows. I generally now leave the temperature at 21 degrees.
@@SocialDrivingAcademy thank you, would u know what the temperature is on the old heater system's? Mine aren't electric still got the old dial knobs in my car that you turn from blue to red where would 21 be on mine?
