Nobody cares about your personal data, but use your imagination and imagine a world in which computers understand us. Because they learned based on data from all of us, without caring for a single person. Look what this already enables: Intelligent routing via Google Maps, because it has the data of enough other people. Intelligent search results via Google search, because it has the data of billions of searches before. There are so many examples you love and use every day, not even thinking that their development took the data of millions of people before you. You can be scared and that's alright, but that's our future. And I, personally, am glad that companies of the free world are leaders in this tech - and not companies from countries like 🇷🇺or 🇨🇳

Merging Google Soli's gesture recognition with CCT's wireless capabilities could create unparalleled user interactions with our daily devices. This fusion allows for gestures in the air to manage CCT-equipped home appliances, enhancing user convenience and offering a futuristic approach to household management. Such innovation paves the way for seamless, more engaging, and energy-efficient solutions in our homes, redefining our interaction with technology.

As someone with autism (Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)), a disorder that affects social functions (among other things), I am afraid of these devices. I have spent over a decade of my life rigorously training myself to understand nonverbal cues and tonalities that modify meanings, to make proper eye contact for right amount of time and at the right times, and to learn enough social skills that I now lead two student organizations in my university. It was painful and difficult, and in various rare and novel circumstances, I still find my social skills lacking! I am concerned that this technology would inadvertently create an (additional) barrier to access that people like me would have to deal with. Also, while I was watching this video, I was put-off by the various phrases that I feel amount to, "humans inherently understand all these subtle nonverbal cues, without even consciously thinking about them."

I'd like such a screen for sensors, or nest like utilies. I wonder if there is some E ink like device able to do as such.

A good concept, I see some complications but also some opportunities. A person with Dystonia, for example, involuntary head shakes, would be misinterpreted. Humans misinterpret the body language of people with afflictions like this. If the system was self learning and could customize its response to individuals it might understand a person's body language better than humans do. It could then be used as a therapeutic tool as well. Many possibilities.

Cameras seem like a more natural/easier to get right choice -- especially if there was some guarantee to keep all of the data local.
