At long last, my love has arrived! I'm deboxing and reviewing In The Pink Barbie doll who was part of the 2000 Barbie Fashion Model Collection (BFMC) for Barbie Signature.
This doll has been on my grail list for many, many years. And finally, I found her! She definitely harkens back to the BFMC glory days and is designed by BFMC creator, Robert Best. In The Pink ‪@Barbie‬ is pure Silkstone elegance, grace, and timeless haute couture. Her taffeta, tulle, and organza Dior-inspired ball gown are out of this world. If you love traditional women's fashion, this doll is a must for you.

By Mattel? He's done Disney Adult Collection $500 USD dolls also. If he likes realism vs cartoons as easy as great low articulated pose favorites vs Mattel's goals of articulation like elbow, wrists, knees, ankles etc. movements.

Question I just inherited a large silkstone barbie collection..And in the pink is one of them but she is blonde?? Was she ever issued with blonde hair?

Not that I know of. Is she still ribboned and taped into the box? If not, I wonder if someone swapped the doll out for a blonde. Or maybe she was a special issue at a Barbie event.

Dear Suresh, Thank you a lot for your exquisite reviews! After viewing about silkstones I’ve bought what’s left in our local stores. Little red dress, Elegant rose cocktail dress, Classic cocktail dress - that will do for me, and one Classic black dress to unbox and play with, she is so adorable, so fine. Ebay prices astonish me. I’ve decided to stop crying over my dream dolls costing 250-500 usd and to buy a beautiful dress for myself.
