We are living in a day when we need to follow Jesus's example in watching out and caring for one another. Also, in sharing truths with others who might be in need of further 'truth and light;. It is our responsibility to reach out and help others; thus becoming "instruments in the Lord's hands" in taking His glad message to those in darkness and as 'Saviors on mount Zion'! He expects it; a sin of omission, otherwise! I am glad that you liked this. The Spirit guides me all the way in which words and images i chose to express 'in a thousand words' what those truthful deeds needed to be expressed. I KNOW God loves us all and the Spirit will teach each of us what to do and say, especially in the final and trying days ahead, "In The Savior's Way"!
I try to follow my heart. Are we ALL not on a constant 'mission' for the Lord! When we have precious truths, it is our responsibility to share with others! "Where much is given, much is required." Thank you for being "in tune"! :-)
I am in my early 40's. I'm a lifelong member of The Church. I had a brief and minor brush with "fame" when I was 15 years old. Just enough to realize how difficult life would be if it continued or grew. It was horrible when strangers to me felt like they already knew me. Maybe that is why I'm a life long admirer of you and your family who have handled it so well, and done so much good in this world. I feel funny calling myself a "fan" but I do cheer you and your entire immediate and extended family on, precisely because of the message all of you continue to teach the world both by word and example of where true happiness is found. Myself, my wife and my 6 kids still love your music! They get funny looks when they tell people at school that their favorite music group is "The Osmond's" and their favorite thing to watch are "Donny and Marie" episodes but I'm happy that they have picked up good roll models. Your legacy lives on in new generations. Thank you for your continued life long mission to make humanity better. You've inspired me to realize that my full time mission did not end in Brasil in 1998 but must continue on as you have done with your whole life and continue to do. I hope I can emulate that in my own life to be an influence for good, and someday, maybe even in the afterlife I hope there is a time I could get to know and become friends with your whole family.
@@alanosmond3131 that would be awesome! Donny used to attend the same branch I was serving in during my mission in a suburb of Boston while he was performing as Joseph in July of 1996. I never got a chance to talk to him but he bore his testimony one week and it really strengthened mine. (I had to wait 3 monts in Boston for my visa to be approved before heading out to Brasil) Thank you all!
@Alan Osmond You are so welcome. I wanted you to know that I appreciated both the message and the WORK it must have taken in order to put it all together and post it. I particularly enjoy the very lyrical stuff. Any Christian can find value in your work. I look forward to future posts.
That was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much Alan for your encouraging words especially right now because I am going through some very difficult personal issues. May the Lord bless you and your family always.
