I’m in the shop again on this video but for preventive maintenance. I’m greasing my truck and rotating my front tires. At times I make prevented make this videos to remind the truck in community to stay on top of your truck.
So ... old school taught you to lift the front suspension before greasing the king pins. Young blood says, naaa, just a myth, yet he has to lift the front suspension to swap the steers? See the problem? Shame on the mess!
Yeah dude is lazy for sure! Now if you have the Eaton kingpins which are smooth all the way around , you definitely need to get the front end jacked up. I have the Stemco Kingpins which have grease channels that runs from end to end and you dont have the front end jacked up to grease them. Its best to jack it up but we all dont have those heavy-duty jacks but do have a cordless grease gun and so you can still grease your truck yanno? And they cost more than the Eaton's but are well worth it! Damn shame you still gotta double check their work after all the money you have to pay at a truck stop repair shop! When you get the bill, you'll be asking for the grease😭
I swap my steers off the rims so they'll still be going in the same direction and rebalance them too! I once did just a flip left to right and right to left and it was a horrible ride! Had to spend a few extra bucks but i likes my W9 to ride easy when I'm mash'n the Big Kitty😁
