Loved the interview. SOT covers just about all my passions ... music, movies, comic books. Now if Pete can add baseball and animation to the mix, everything in my world would be covered. Jamie, you are and entertaining guy and a fine interviewer. Best of luck with your new channel!
Another note, a great old comedy from W.C. Fields called “It’s A Gift” is hilarious! It’s a favorite of Conan O’Brien as well. I’m not a huge Fields fan but this movie really cracks me up no matter how many times I see it.
Such a tease! I thought we were finally going to get a camera panned across the big wall. For months now I’ve been wondering which album is usually behind Pete’s right shoulder. It looks like a black background with circular artwork. Does anyone know? By chance, is it Sir Lord Baltimore?
Great interview Jamie. SoT is a fantastic resource to me and those who love the various music genres, Monsters Den and Comic Book Geezers. Thank you and Pete for all of the hard work and passion you both bring to the shows. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Great episode! Love all of Pete’s shows. One thing I’m struck by is the depth perception of Pete’s room. When Pete heads back to the shelf it’s way taller than I assumed! Need a ladder to get up top!
Jamie, I still have my original baseball t shirt from the Crimes of Passion tour. It is white with long light blue sleeves. I doubt it still fits me. Got it in 1980.
Awesome show - but how could it be anything else with the great Pete Pardo as your guest? Always enjoy your appearances on SoT, Jamie ... you & Pete have a good rapport, so it's cool to see him return the favor.
I think people would not just like a tour of the mancave but the Pardo premises, neighbourhood, dogsetc. Come on dude no need to be shy. For us in the UK, we dont know what Hudson Valley is like.
Love David Fincher's movies. Zodiac was a good one. I wish he would have continued with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. I read all the books and they're phenomenal. I like del Toro's stuff as well. Did you like the tv series The Strain. Thought it was well done.
Fantastic interview and commentary -Jamie and Pete. Agree To Kill a Mockinbird timeless, the movie and book. The b&w films resonate. Knowing you like horror, classics. Track down Seconds w Rock Hudson, directed by John Frankenheimer. Psychological thriller, horror, sci fi in b&w. Way before its time.
Hey Jamie, I didn't know you had a channel. If you mentioned it, I never noticed! You're a cool guy, and I'll definitely watch your videos now. Cheers, man.
I had no idea some of those music box sets (Humble Pie, Hendrix etc) were even out there. Is there a web site that provides news about new or upcoming music box set releases?
