I usually get away to do some camping a few times a year. Robert has been gracious enough to invite me out to his camp, along with a few of his friends. We all collect and pitch in on chores around the property, and it just makes for a great getaway with a bunch of lantern nerds.

I still have my first lantern, a 200-A, bought new in 1979. It still works perfect and puts out more light than the 220’s. That’s when I caught the Coleman disease!

Keep an eye on those lanterns at night. Those east tx wood boogers are known lantern thief’s. Beer and burgers too. Esp around Jefferson.

Glad you enjoyed it! They were a bit nervous about being on camera, but they all relaxed and had a really good time. I'll be looking to do more of these in the future.
