Such a cute girl who talks about Tibetan traditions dress . Wonderful job. So excited to see on RU-vid. Let me know where are you from if you don’t mind.
@@LhawangPoSherpa I am not Tibetan, just an 81 year old American, so I am not a good person to ask. From what it looks like, it appears that the Amdo is like the Khamp Chupa, which is a nomad chupa. Also, it appears the U-Tsang is like the Lhasa Chupa, which is a warm weather chupa. Actually, I think you know a whole lot more about this than I do. From your name, you are a Sherpa. I am impressed.
Hey pretty first of all ur all choices of chupa is beautiful and happy to knew that we have a same choices of simple and elegant chupa . And yeah by the way we have exactly same cozy roomshoe 🥰👍🏻💕
glad tibetan came up with traditional dress bc most nepalese buddhist esp sherpas are claiming Tibetan chupa is their traditional dress. Yes, some sherpa used to wear chupa back in the days due to Tibetan influence in their community but not to the extend how they are portraying it in the recent years in their formal functions celebrations and in sherpa title contest!!!Within utsang, many regional traditional dress are existed and these sherpa all up there wearing some of those regional attire n claiming its theirs!!! At least should have given credit if they love it that much. Tibetans should start being loud to represent rich culture language religion and tradition before other claim for it. Tibetan language is already started calling a himalayan language in nepal, completely ignoring how tibetan language came about. No Respect
Sherpa and Tibetan do share similar traditional Dress. And I am glad that we are co preserving the cultural dress. Thank you for watching my video. Have a good day
When Tibetan n sherpa wear chupas. I recogise which is sherpa n Tibetan.coz,Tibetan knows how to wear chupa, fiting n matching, they wore v. suitable. When sherpa wear chupa there something wrong. I dont know chupas mistake or sherpas body structures. Coz, ummm how to say. Ummmmmmm mmmmm they wore v.unconfortable.
Sharpa, Loba, nyeshang, Dolpo, Tsumpa, Nubri, Yolmo, Mukhum, Lumi etc. are one time, they were part of Tibetan kingdom, But Nepalese king Janga Bhadur invaded these territories while they are invited by Shamar pa to fight against Tibetan government. So called country Nepal never existed before year 1650, Southern part of Nepal was part of India and Northern part of Nepal was Tibetan territory. Nepal was created by British for their interest. Sha and Ranas are migrated from India with a help of British India . Above mentioned regions have full right and responsibility to preserve their culture and heritage which is Tibetan culture. Deep in their blood are pure Tibetan.
