Originally produced at Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons in 1979, IN TROUSERS introduced beloved composer/lyricist William Finn (FALSETTOS, A NEW BRAIN) to the theatre world. IN TROUSERS is the story of Marvin and the ladies in his life. He's got a fabulous wife and a son, but isn't sure he's as straight as a husband and father should be. So he regresses to his teenage years, where his High School Sweetheart and teacher, Miss Goldberg, teach him a few lessons about life and love. Forced to grow up, he reluctantly marries Trina, but soon discovers his journey doesn't quite end there.
