In Your Time 

In the autumn of 2022, I wrote this song-an anthem of hope for moments when we await something grand, answers, a new job, a hopeful prospect. Sometimes, our timing diverges from that of the divine, and hope flickers. I went through a difficult chapter, anticipating good news only to be met with rejection. On the verse of spiraling into despair, I remembered this song. As I sang it to myself, an optimistic feeling swept over me, lifting my spirit from the darkness that had been taking over and gave me a renewed vision of my future. My hope is that it might do the same for you if you are in a season of waiting. “In Your Time” features the majestic talents of Dr. Rod Vester on piano, my esteemed colleague from Shenandoah University, and the captivating vocals of Shayla Moon, my fellow scholar from Berklee Online's Masters of Songwriting program.
