Inarijärvi 2018; Tuulesta tyveneen / Lake Inari; unique atmosphere 

Oleppa hyvä vaan, kaipa sitä vuosien mittaan pikkuhiljaa oppii leikkaamaankin näitä tekeleitä enemmän "silmää miellyttäväksi". Kohtahan ne jäät lähtee ja helatorstai viikon kauden aloitus lähestyy. Katsotaan, josko poitsukin pääsisi tällä kertaa mukaan reissuun muutamaksi päivää.

Thanks for your comment! We were about to hit the rocks so I had to reverse, that’s why line got into the propeller. But there was no harm done, just 15 minutes to clear the line out. That year weather was really nice and calm, I'm just finishing my Inari 2022 video and weather is not so great all the time😉. I have been lake Inari many times and we never had moskitos. When you go there after mid July, there is no harm for moskitos.

@ Thanks for reply! Have some questions... As I understand all fishermen start trips from Nelim(?) a lot of viseos, and nobody starts from Inari village?! Its weird. Where river Jutan meets the lake should be a good spot ? :) But no videos from Inari village, have you ever try there? Where is a good place to slip the boat from trailer? Where I can get water map of the area and fishing license? Kiitos!

@@AlexZanderReznikov Well, I suppose that most fisherman use Veskoniemi or Inari harbors. Veskoniemi is near Ivalo and my 2022 video starts there. That video will come out end of January 2023. Here is videoseries that starts at Inari harbor. This is not fishing trip, but it shows nicely some wilderness huts. If you start at Inari harbor, you will have to drive about 8 km before first islands where you can camp. And 15 km before first Wilderness hut. And if there is strong eastwind you cannot go anywhere because waves will be so high. Inari harbor has ice station to buy ice (5 euros using phone). We haven’t fish this area yet. Veskoniemi harbor is probably the most popular place to start a trip to lake Inari. It is close to Ivalo, there is plenty of places to let your car and trailer, there is ice station where you can buy ice for your trip. Winds don’t affect Veskoniemi, you can start your trip at any wind. There are islands all over nearby and Iso-Jääsaari Wilderness hut is only 10 km away and there are others too nearby. I think this is the most secure solution to start your first trip to lake Inari. At this area I can give some tips where to fish. That becoming “Inari 2022” video will show some of those places using maps. Nellim harbor you have to drive 45 km from Ivalo and there are no shops there. Nellim harbor has ice station to buy ice. That area is familiar to us because we have been renting same cottage at Paksuvuono about 7 times. There are many islands at that area and within 20 km several wilderness huts (Punainen tupa, Kärppäsaari) and boat bases, (Tyllylahti, Speinniemi) to sleep nights. At this area I can give exact tips where to fish. That becoming “Inari 2022” video will show many of those places using maps. There is also smaller harbor at northern point of Nanguniemi, but Veskoniemi is much better place at this area near Ivalo.
