@@YoungAussieFlyer for sure, but the best value would still be Jetstar’s Dreamliner economy since most of the time when the 787s go it’s part of an international flight, and so you have to pay quite a lot for business and then you may aswell go with Virgin in Business. And yeah the QF A330 is great but often r they get changed to a 737, the only place where your really “confirmed” to get the A330 is from Sydney. Keep up the great work!
It's a terrific aircraft. But, like you, I would only fly this on short-hauls. Those thin looking seats look mighty uncomfortable for anything more than 3 - 4 hours.

Great to see the dude only load one bag into the locker! Not sure about the small device holder? Is there a way to secure the device? Even minor turbulence would cause issues. Was that an ashtray I saw in the toilet???
Yes ash trays are still present even on modern aircraft so that in the event someone does light up - they have a place to put the ash, rather in the bin or toilet bowl and cause a fire
The A321neo is great but I much prefer the A320/A321-200 because the IAE V2500 makes the most marvelous takeoff noise. I hope I can fly on them as much as possible before they become thing of the past.

I understand that you sat in the exit row, but what was legroom like compared to the older Jetstar planes? I've heard that the A321CEO's seats are tighter than the A320s, so I'm not sure how it will compare with the NEOs.
Awesome video! Great to see an in-flight video of this aircraft on a special occasion. 11F seemed to be the perfect view. The sunrise upon climb topped it off. It’s a refresher to see USB ports on the new seats, especially considering JetStar is a Low Cost Carrier. JetStar are really upping their game with this new aircraft, and I certainly hope to fly on one one day. Hope you had a great flight! ;) Thank you for the upload!
I agree 11F was hands down the best choice…albeit my only window seat choice in front of the wings. I love it when there are USB and universal power outlets on aircraft…means my phone won’t die - and will arrive fully charged. Jetstar is becoming good. However my only criticism is the paper thin seats. I’m certain you will get to fly on it just keep looking! :D
Great video! The new A321NEO is awesome! Hope to see it flying to other awesome places soon and I will definitely have to fly it some day, although the cabin could have been done better.
Great you put the effort into the vid, but...there's the the Murray River (VIC/NSW border) approx 32NM north of Shepparton, or, the Murrumbidgee River about 116NM north.....but there's NO 'Murrumbridge' River...? And was it the 'First Officer', or 'Captain' who came over the P.A.? 2 different ranks.
Thank you! Now let me clear up a few things. I am aware that I made an error in regards to the Murrumbidgee river - that was simply human error. Also both pilots onboard has the rank of Captain however one had to be referred to as the first officer - which was in this case Captain Canobi.
Going on this or a similar aircraft from Sydney to Denpasar later this year. Probably the maximum time I would spend on a narrow body budget airline! 😉
Nice video ! I was going to fly on this inaugural flight but I couldn’t.. The thumbnail looks identical to my photo with the engine lined up with the words like my photo I was just wondering if it’s my photo, my photo has a black plane watermark with my name in the bottom left corner ( where you put the Jetstar logo photo ) I’m just wondering if it is mine - regards :)
Could be! I just searched up “VH-OFE Jetstar A321neo” and I grabbed the best looking photo I could find and used it, if there is an issue let me know :)
