Pax count is common practice. It's just not usually announced like that. It's why they like people sitting in their assigned seat before take off and not switch until in the air. I work for an airline for 16 years.

Very amazing Trip! Super jealous you got to fly on that inaugural flight to Islip! Also, the "stretch" seats do have recline its just these seats are special with the red lever under the seat. I'm always looking for the round button in the arm rest. Liked and Subbed!

The first time I went on Frontier Airlines was a few months ago. I flew on the Airbus A321 there was no NEO. The flight went from Orlando to Cleveland. And my animal was a badger. Named Joe Bob. And I flew on their economy.

This is the most INACCURATE judgement of Frontier. First off, the seats DO recline, you just have to look for it! Helllooo! Second, this is what you call a low cost carrier, for those of you who can't comprehend the difference. No, you absolutely DO NOT get all the bells and whistles. Prices literally start at $19. C'mon! Are you getting that on United or American?? No, of course not. So why would you expect more for less from Frontier? Third, this person filming had an entire row to themselves. You lucked out, because normally those seats are FULL. Again, when prices start at $19, who DOESN'T want to travel? And fourth, why are you even complaining about the stews doing their JOB?! You seriously want to publicize them in order to get them in trouble?? They have a hard enough job as it is without the criticism of guy who doesn't even know the seats recline!!! Seriously, get a life, or get a better hobby. Your commentary is of one who does not fly often enough to give an accurate grade on ANY airline. You're lucky you can even travel freely at the ridiculous low prices Frontier provides.

I think people who are upset that Frontier isn't flying them in luxury are just silly. It's a budget airline. It doesn't matter what they used to be. Fly a more fancy airline. I think the problem with these reviews is that they are judging the flights as if the fares were as expensive as United, etc. A Frontier flight is entirely worth the money that you pay. If you know you need checked bags? Compare prices with a main airline. Find the cheapest option for you. Be a smart consumer and the majority of problems that people find with Frontier aren't relevant. Sorry you didn't like your flight. I recently got to fly on a newer aircraft in their fleet and it was lovely. That being said I also had a very mediocre experience flying them just before that flight. Meh. It's just a budget airline.
