Excellent! Nice included tools make the drilling much easy. At the beginning a doubt how can i line up the hand drill and hole. But with this tools it is so easy, even for me with zero experience.

Thanks Jim. Your attention to the customer is why I ordered a colonial rifle. Never skimping on quality, but always thinking of ways to make a normally difficult task easier for those of us who don’t do it everyday.

All of these items worked perfectly in my gun build.

The first rifle kit has not arrived yet and iam already thinking of getting a second kit. Oh what type vise do you recommend for this type of work.

Is this kit available for purchase by itself? I think there are a few people that have kits now that would like to have this kit.

Jim it would be great if later you would add a Lancaster or something of the like to your lineup of kits, some guys may not want the colonial or the mountain, just saying . Don’t get me wrong they are all beautiful kits just maybe something else. You really do fantastic work and your kits could not be more simplified for the customer. Outstanding…

When I built a NSW Trade musket, this was the part that caused me the most worries-measuring over and over to make sure I hit the tabs just right, and getting square with the stock so the drill came out in the same location on the other side (And as careful as I was, at least one pin hole was off on the other side). You have really taken a big headache out of the building process! I'm watching all these vids before I begin my Colonial rifle.

Hi ...I was just watching one of your videos on building a mountain rifle..Fascinating stuff!!...I'm thinking of maybe building one here in Sweden If it's Legal... Watching you stain & finish the stock I was just wondering why the wood is left bare under the lock plate & barrel...Is it something to do with the metal & the finishing compound reacting?? Or maybe letting the wood "Breathe"?... Keep up the fantastic work! 😀👍

Wouldn't it be easier for you to just drill the partsin house versus spending money on extra parts?

What do you use to cut pins off to get a clean cut and don't screw up the wood?
