Was at a house party back in the day in the living room where hard techno was blaring out of a ghettoblaster, listened to by some serious techno-heads off their boxes on various illegal substances. Anyhoo I saw this video come on a silent TV which was tuned to MTV. I says 'one second lads just wanna hear this' and turned off the techno and put this on to some 'what the fuck are you doing man?' protestations, within a few seconds you see the heads nodding and feet tapping and smiles coming onto faces. Just a little memory I wanted to share with y'all.

This generation of Incognito singers, choirs and musicians is probably the best of all time. The other generations are very good, but this one is very very very good.
One of the finest songs on R&B / Jazz I ever heard. The vocal is powerful and is the kind of good sound that definetly will be played for many generations ahead.
I've always felt like the vocalist were always an instrument in his orchestra but at the core of Incognito the groove has always been the star. A star can never be replaced or substituted.

The albums ''Positivity'', then ''100 and Rising'', are possibly the 2 biggest end-on-end banger Acid Jazz albums ever composed in the 90s. Especially with the latter, masterpiece after masterpiece song. But there was so much good stuff in the 90s...album-wise..

The 100 degrees and rising album is a classic and like The Labour Of Love that followed it , those vocalists , Pamela , Joy , Chris and Immani have been difficult to replace in terms of their ability and chemistry that brought the best of those songs . Bluey has changed the line ups when releasing new material but the after these last 2 albums those haven’t reached those heights for me even with Maysa coming back as they are just excellent.

I'm ashamed to say I didn't listen to this in 1995. I was majorly into the Heavies. I was on a train in 2022 and heard this for the first time. I listened to nothing but this song for four hours. It's that good. Now I'm hooked.
