Turnover=profit+loss Eg-one day gets 10k profit other day gets 5k loss and next day 8k profit and next is 4k loss. Then turn over will be 10+5+8+4=27k...

If you are not choosing presumptive business income while filing ITR, then you need an audit. That means, if you want to show losses, u need an audit even if your turnover is less than 5cr. Kindly add this information. For small traders it is almost impossible to show losses because of the expense related to auditing.

Sir, thanks for the very informative video. one querry- I have opened account with zerodha and started trading. Mostly trade 10 or more trades daily. So it can be 250 plus trades in a year. Do i need to keep record of daily trnsactions to file IT returns. Or just my P&L downloaded from zerodha at the end of the financial year is enough for my CA.

Thanks for your support as usual... ഒരു doubt... ലാഭമായാലും നഷ്ടമായാലും tax അടക്കണം / file ചെയ്യണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞല്ലോ... ലാഭവും നഷ്ടവും എപ്പോഴാണ് finalise ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയുക ... Portfolio ൽ കിടക്കുന്ന ലാഭവും നഷ്ടവും കണക്കാക്കില്ലന്ന് വിചാരിക്കുന്നു... കൂടാതെ നമ്മൾ amount നമ്മുടെ അക്കൗണ്ടിലേക്കു withdraw ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ മാത്രമാണോ ഇതൊക്കെ നോക്കേണ്ടത്...അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ broker അക്കൗണ്ടിൽ കിടക്കുന്നതൊക്കെ tax exempted ആണോ... വിഡ്ഢി ചോദ്യമായി പോയെങ്കിൽ ക്ഷമിക്കുക.. അറിവില്ലായ്മകൊണ്ടാണ്....

Sharique bro 2 doubt, pls reply 1) If I have loss in intraday and gain in swing/long term, can I add these two? 2) if I have no job and no income, and I do only swing Trade and making considerable profit then what's the tax (full time swing trader)?

Super chats are not allowed in UAE hence I had asked my brother to send you my question which you had read in last sunday (super chat from Nirmal Sudharjanan) Wanted to clarify with you, whatt to do if a stock opens a at our breakout levels ? Should we enter the trade at open, ie 9.15 itself ? Today Apollo tyres opened like that and in one minute achived target and next min came down. If we wait for the volume to be seen at open then that rally would be gone.

@@ShariqueSamsudheen Thanks a lot for the response. Actually my doubt was if it opens at breakout or just below. For eg on 9th Havells opened at 688( breakout 688), Apollo tyres at 137.3 ( 137.5 breakout). Both gave more than 1 percent in a min. In such cases should we enter exactly at the open using trigger buy (OCO), coz if we wait it for couple of mins it will be well above breakout levels and may descend upon entry.

The taxes you pay in DMAT account may be Securities Transaction tax & GST(on sale or purchase). These are indirect taxes in India. Other than this, we have to pay INCOME TAX (Tax on your profit from sales of shares or other securities). This tax we need to pay normally after the end of each year. ( Advance tax applicable allenkil).
