Stress is there every day but if I can create something....just one piece of art to make a card....I put myself in another place and can keep going....art is everything for a release!

10:31 honestly it's refreshing to hear somebody talk about what's really going on. This is the type of thing I've been searching for and just find people sticking and gluing things to make things look pretty which is fine but not exactly what I'm searching for. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt post. Yes, life sure does get messy sometimes! I’m so sorry to hear of your father’s health issues. I think we all feel so out of control when dealing with doctors and things out of our control. Rest, reflection, journaling with words or art is such a healing balm for our souls. Despite all that is happening in our lives, just taking a 5 minute break and centering our thoughts can be such a strength booster. I, too, always want to keep like things in their labeled boxes. It seems the older I get, however, the farther they stray outside their boundaries!😂. I am trying to embrace that, hence my foray in to art journals. It has been an interesting journey, for sure! Take care of YOU so that you can care for others more effectively. 💕. It seems your art journal is the place to be! TFS!❤

At 77,I finally hit the place where I do not watch too much TV news. What you said hits home. I am glad you can open up and talk. I liked your journal as soon as the RU-vid started. I can get totally lost in doodling. I make cards. I can forget everything. I will think of you in my quiet times. I am going through the same things. Your colorful journal lifted me up. A fan.

Thank you for this! You are always so inspiring. I had to uproot my life to go care for my Dad recently so I know how hard that is. Thankfully he is doing better now and I am back home and back to making art.
