@@redrush-hp9li Why would I lie brother? I am not promoting this software not getting paid. It depends on the SSD you are using and the DRAM cache it has. Let's say My SSD has 128mb DRAM. it will copy the data very fast on that DRAM then copy the other files much slower to the SSD. As we are depending on SSD to speed up our HDD. Its very important that your SSD has DRAM Cache and from a reputable manufacturer to notice the difference. Do you remember? when some HDD used to come with built in SSD as Cache for faster data transfer and quick response time. Thats almost exact thing I am done in this video. Plus point is you can also use your RAM as cache. Please use a stop watch next time you try to launch the software you are trying to start after opening and closing around 10-20 times and restarting your computer. It boosts your frequently used software, not your whole arsenal of softwares installed in your computer that you rarely use......... Hope you are happy with my answer borther. Using primo cache is good, but configuring primo ramdisk and remapping browser cache folders also greatly improves internet browsing. just use mklink /d "source" "destination". copy the cache folder path, delete the source folder and then run mklink in the windows terminal and a shortcut to the ramdisk folder will be created.

So in other words It follows the same technique budget dram ssds use It uses the entire ssd as a fast frame buffer and if your copying large files it will only be fast depending on the cache size and then go back down to the normal speed but this is useful if you want files to copy faster

not working still hdd speed only 215mb/s. Many time changed many parameters but same result sata 6 hdd's still slow. I am using two hdd 6tb and 8tb both 50% full maybe that is why cant find cause why not working. I am using 24GB ram L1 and Samsung Evo 850 256GB L2. I have tried older and newer version same result. Hello, so I did this to my PC and it actually did more harm than good, good thing is that my HHD is now fast but my RAM not so much. After doing this my RAM went from 30% (Before boost) - 80% (After boost) . I used a memory cleaner like Mem Reduct and it only controlled my RAM to 50%. And when using apps it just goes higher than 70. I have 4GB of RAM, I will now revert back to not using PrimoCache to save resources.

Do you use laptop or desktop? If you use Desktop, You can attach a SATA SSD to it and use as a cache for your HDD. 120gb SSD is now only 10-15$ Bucks. Then in Primo Cache only use SSD as Cache, Not RAM :)

Plz knock me on our Facebook page. it would be better, If you can attach a video showing the problem. But the easiest solution to your problem is Creating a new volume/drive using the unallocated space of your hdd/ssd. Because when you delete a drive it becomes unallocated space. You can do it with Disk Manager :)

Press (Win+R), Write "diskmgmt.msc" Press Enter. It will take you to Disk Management. Here You can Find All UnAllocated Space of your HDD or SSD. Click Right Mouse button on it >Click New Volume> NeXT>NEXT>Here Assign Drive Letter>Keep NTFS As File System, Change Volume Label to Your Desired Name (Such As: Primo Cache), Then Press Next>Finish. Now you can see your New Drive on "This PC" Or "My Computer"................. Have fun! and Don't forget to Subscribe :)

Yes, it can speed up load times of your frequently used apps. Boot time improvement not that much bcoz it needs to copy cache files to RAM, if you are using RAM as a cache. If you uninstall the application, it will get back to normal. Hope it answers your questions 🙂..........DIPU

It depends on how much data you want to copy at a time. (Example: When I edit a video, the clips almost reaches around 100gb. Around 10-20GB per clip. That's why I made my SSD cache 30gb to copy it faster. Also It helps when I do Video Rendering.) To summarize, You should create SSD cache around your each maximum file size+ some extra. You are using Windows 10 right? Windows 10 usually takes more time when you Restart than Shutdown. Has to build the cache again, because of some settings you messed up. Please again follow the tutorial from start to end to fix it.

If your hard disk has reserved sectors, what every hard disks have. Then your Harddisk may live for a few years. But if your HDD sectors has been used before and now in last then the bad sectors will come back after a few months.

it will be a little faster. But remember it's a software solution. Each time PC starts up, it also has to start up and copied to the ram to start its function. Its features become available after loading upon PC start. ..........🙂

You can buy a cheap SSD for only about 10$ or even less if you buy it 2nd hand. It will work better with SSD

hi bro i followed a primo cache video and after increasing speed of ssd i uninstalled primo cache. just after clicking uninstall my pc restart automatically. after that pc stuck in boot loop and i start getting bsod after bsod. i tried everything ( installing previous save, uninstalling updates, reset pc, rest bios of mobo ) but everything falis. finally i installed new windows ( formatted ssd before installing new ). still i'm receving problems like random bsod. sometimes during post my cpu won't detect other time my gpu won't detect. than i try to test for my rams. and one of ram was causing it. still i do not know wheather both rams are broken or not time will tell. my question is that does primo cache broke my ram?? or it is ok and i have to do something to revive it. i have warranty for ram should i rma my ram edit :- forget to mention i allocated 4gb for cache out of 16gb

Brother it sounds like a hardware issue, you should consult your PC manufacturer. You can claim your warranty. I have installed Primo Cache in many computers, did not have this kind of problem.

But after getting into desktop opening frequently used application or Copying something to your HDD. You will see and feel the speed because of the Cache............ Seriously brother? We are speeding up our HDD with SSD and RAM. So that we can get better performance out of our HDD. If you don't understand that then there is nothing to say. The video is straight forward, clear and on topic............. Thank you.
