That's true. When i applied my first Credit Card at RCBC and they checked my Income. I was amazed. They approved my application for gold Visa with Credit Limit of 60,000. Imagine that's my first Credit Card. RCBC is really good.
I'm on 10 months now with my Citi Rewards Platinum Visa, within 9 months, I requested twice for credit limit increase. My first was 300k approved. After 2 months, I requested for 500k increase. After just a few days, I was approved.

Experience ko honestly ang damot ng Citi sa pag increase ng credit limit. Currently nasa 1/3 yung credit limit ko compared sa monthly salary ko, tapos dinedecline nila pag nagrequest ako for an increase. Yung Unionbank mataas yung binigay agad nung time na nag apply ako; 2x compared sa monthly salary ko. Yung BPI was, at the time, mga 0.9x my salary, tapos nung hindi ko na siya ginagamit biglang tinaasan lol. Parang ang random ng mga decisions ng mga banko na 'to honestly. I did some tricks with Citi to increase my credit limit. Usually kase kay Citi nag iincrease talaga sya annually especially kung marami ka big puchases and higher tier din ang card mo. So what I usually do I requests a credit limit increase 2 months prior to my card's anniversary. So ang mangyayari 2 times in a year sya mag iincrease. I started 79k in Premiere miles now for 2 years I already got 400k credit limit which is really good.

Hi need your advise. I have good credit standing naman (I think) kasi I pay my balance even before my bill is being generated or before due date. I am planning to purchase an iPhone sa Greenhills and planning to use one of my credit cards for this. Ang taas ng interest though as compared to sellers in regular wherein they offer 0% interest. Sa mga sellers sa Greenhills wala. Interest range between 15-20% yata. Pero siyempre pag sa mga malls ka bumili, super taas din ng mark up nila sa pricing. What would you recommend instead? Which option is more cost effective?

Hi I just got approved sa BPI and medyo mababa ang credit limit na binigay nila considering my previous salary. Hi Julie! Usually call the bank up talaga is a way for them and inform them to stop sending credit cards your way. Pero sometimes kasi kung nag apply tayo sa mga agents sa labas or sa mga mall. Shineshare nila info mo kaya nagpapadala ka ng ibang cards :(

@@markvincentsabado1803 hi, I believe magiging advance payment for the next statement date inclusive na sa lahat ng na purchase mo on that period and the installment on that month. Not necessarily na advance payment sya sa installment lang on that month, or the purchases lang.

Gusto ko tapatan ni Citi ang BPI Visa Signature ko which has a 750k credit limit. As of now, my Citi cc has a 500k limit. Will wait til August for the 1st year anniversary of my Citi cc if they give me another increase.

Hi, gusto ko sana magapply ng BDO Titanum Visa/Mastercard. Kasi dati binigyan nila ako ng credit card pero di ko kinuha kasi that time ayaw ko talaga ng ganun. Yes intayin mo muna ang statement para sure ka ng total na babayaran. You can check din statement mo sa app ng bank, but usually they will email you the statement :)

Credit limit sa form usually ang tanong nun is yung limit sa mga cards na meron ka na. Sila nag seset ng credit limit mo for your card. Shopping pwede ko check si BPI amore or even si BDO shopmore if mahilig ka sa sm mag shop or citibank reward cards Dining pwede rin si HSBC red

Sir, I have secured credit card from BPI (BPI express start) and as far as I know, I can get a regular credit card after a year kapag maganda ang credit history ko sa kanila. Can I get credit card from another bank like Citibank or BDO even though sa BPI ginamit kong starting credit card as a reference? Sabi mo po kasi medyo mababa credit limit ni BPI hehe.

Pero nashock lang ako sa feed ng citi bank which is higher. Medyo nalilito ako what to choose. Anyways, for you po, anong credit card ang best para sa mga nag-start pa lang? I will just use it for shopping, gadgets, appliances, etc. Hindi ako mahilig sa travel hehe. Considering ‘yung ease of getting approved, interest rate, credit limit, etc.?
@@toxicfandom1137 Actually for starters kung saan bank ka may savings I recommend dun ka muna kumuha kasi its easier to get one and also for you to pay your bills. Tapos now naman local lahat ng purchases mo so kahit anong bank actually is all ok. In terms of maraming promo though, ang pansin ko si Citi maraming mga spend X amount get free food promo ngayon. :)

Yung bpi ko once pa lang nagincrease, ok lang saken problema lang if I want to purchase appliances na malaking amount. Pero bumabawi si bpi sa mga cash loans nila either same ng credit limit mo or doble. Para lang din syang government loans pero malaking amount. Ngayon duon na lang nila ako parang binubudol dinodoble na nila yung amount ng cash loans. Nag offer pa silang car loan, housing loan at kung ano ano pa. Jusko sabi ko nalang sa bpi gusto nyo ba ko mabaon sa utang 😅🤣. Ayun nag stop na sila hahaha
Pero as per other people banks love people who pay just the interest and those who prolongs their credit balance since doon daw sila kumikita, so it is not true pala haha

Yes! pwede yan! And if I were you BPI over BDO hehe. Yan yung preference ko. But since it will be easy to get the BPI kasi offered na get it na rin! BDO why not, both BPI BDO are good naman but I prefer BPI lang hehe. :)
