In this weeks video we visit this absolutely breath-taking 8 bedroom family home and it's a real time capsule indeed!
This once bustling family home is now left to the ravages of time and decay, leaving many once loved belongings now covered in thick layers of mould.
The windows are, for the most part, taken over by ivy which has now started to make its way inside the property as it slowly finds its way through the house.
Join us as we take you around this beautiful 4 storey family home and once again, please like, comment and subscribe as it really makes a difference to our channel. Thank you for watching!

Really enjoyed that explore! You two are really good at what you do. You don't rush through like other explorers and you always give us a chance to really see the places you visit. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Thank you for saying that! To me there's no point in going at all if you're just gonna rush around. Some of our videos may be long but at least you get to see what we see and that's what it's all about. Glad you enjoyed the video and please stay tuned for more!

What a great explore guys! That house is massive and I just can't understand why it's been left what with all the kids they had in the house. Brilliant though, well done!

Hi, thought you might like to know, this house was abandoned in 2000. The family moved back to London. Sam and Jess explores met the son there five years ago and he was boarding up the place. He said his parents had so many properties they never got round to coming back to empty it. He always hoped they would come back but are too busy. The spear and African stuff was sent to them by someone they helped in Africa. The son said it was always a happy home.

Wow! Thank you for that! We haven't seen their video yet but how interesting to know! So they're not passed away then... How extraordinary that they just haven't cleared it out, that's mind blowing! Thank you so much for telling us! 💓

Wow what a cool place. That record player radio combo is more like late 40s or early 50s just looking at the dials. Man what a gold mine of neat and cool stuff. Nice big house as well. It's always so interesting how Mother Nature always seems to reclaim what was hers ........ the vines of ivy and foliage creeping through the cracks around windows. Beautiful place in its own way.

It was a great explore. I do love seeing those old record players, you just don't see them so much anymore.

Another great exploration. It never ceases to amaze me how these places survive and aren’t looted. What a shame that such a large house has been left to deteriorate. The compass 31:40 is a beam compass, often called trammels. It’s for scribing much larger radii on materials like wood, card, plastic, or metal than can be achieved with adjustable steel point spring dividers. The machine in the box at 39:52 is an electric meat slicer. Heavier commercial quality ones are still used in supermarkets and butchers to slice ham, pork, beef etc. You’ve probably seen them on meat counters many times but just didn’t recognise what is was with it being in the box.
@silentseekersexplore
@silentseekersexplore 9 месяцев назад
Thank you! It had been looted unfortunately. There were definitely quite a few things missing that were there in a top explorers video a few weeks back where he did a paranormal. That's just what happens unfortunately. Thank you for the info on the items, we always appreciate it!

Fantastic explore, really enjoyed this one, it gave us such an insight into the family's life during the 60's and 70's as the decor and furniture seemed to gave stuck there. I remember practically everything in that house, we had the exact record player and did actually buy a Teasmade, useless thing as you still had to fetch the milk which defeats the object somewhat. The kids must have had a truly good upbringing and seemed to have the run of the entire upper rooms. Fascinating.
@silentseekersexplore
@silentseekersexplore 9 месяцев назад
Do you know, I hadn't actually thought of that! Of course, you'd still have to go get the milk! I used to want a teasmade, glad I didn't actually get one now 🤣

Really enjoyed this explore and wouldn't it be brilliant to go on the Orient Express, were the tickets used or to be used.So sad that the memories and keepsakes and personal belongings are all being left to rot and nature taking over the house. If only those walls could talk 😊 🍁🍂 xxx

Thank you! Wouldn't it just.. The tickets were passenger copies so I'm guessing they actually went and kept these as mementos. How lovely that would have been.

Thank you for watching! That's what I've said, about the kids. Where are they all? I think this house holds a little bit of something that most people have owned at one point. I just love those old record/ radio players, we find those in a few places. Do you know what they're called?

@@silentseekersexplore the big ones that look like sideboards are called radiograms and the one you hubby pulled out of the corner was just called a record player my sister had one in the 1950 .

Good evening I’ve just come across you two , absolutely fab.. no rubbish made up about the family etc just a proper good explore through the house.. you two are so refreshing..however I wonder why this house has been left as it shows the children would now be in their 50’s given their toys and trainers etc which would mean the parents would be approximately 70-80 mmmmm does get my brain ticking 😂😂 ant wait to see more...thankyou from a brummie that should be doing her tax returns 😳😂
@silentseekersexplore
@silentseekersexplore 8 месяцев назад
Oh you're just up the road from us! Those tax returns can wait, you tube is much more important 🤣 Thank you for your lovely words. Half the time we don't know anything about the family, we're walking in with fresh eyes. It's just nice to see these places intact after sometimes decades have passed. We're glad you enjoyed the video!

Hi Clare and Rob. Loved the video, very interesting and also funny in parts. It's such a shame that some of these old possessions have been exposed to the elements, especially white mould, when they could have been taken to charity shops and sold on. The 3rd womble i think was Tomsk by the way. I look forward to watching the rest of your videos. Merry Xmas X
