You share new light to old eyes. I love the joy and happiness I feel when you find those beautiful agate and pet wood. I used to live in Great Falls, but was always on my horse looking. May your best finds be soon. 💘 you.

I'm with you, sister! Love to beachcomb by myself. Where I go is Honeymoon Island state park near Tampa, FL. The island is a barrier island and it's about 2-3 miles to the end from where I park. Sometimes I have the whole north end to myself and I love it! 😊 Besides shells, I regularly find agatized coral rocks. Thanks, Kate!

Hi Katy, I would like if you allow me to ask you the news of a person who does pretty much the same work as you on his friendly RU-vid channel. We haven't seen her for several months; once I even asked for his news through his channel (without activity) and no one of his relatives answered me. Her absence coincides with covid 19. I wish her all the good she deserves; she is an extraordinary woman. Her full name: LIZ KREATE In the meantime, be well, and thank you for everything Sincerely

Treasure island indeed! Gorgeous rocks! It’s also comforting to know I’m not the only person who gets freaked out when I see OTHER people in MY isolated habitat! 🤣

Just want to give you a big Thank You from here in Minnesota! We just got back from vacation. We got your book this spring and decided to take the first half of our vacation in Wyoming at the Blue Forrest and the second half of it going along the Yellowstone following your locations. They did not disappoint! We had so much fun and found so many interesting, treasures! Found several agates, only a couple of bigger ones, but for our first time there it was amazing. I even found a treasure state which was completely unexpected as I was not looking at that moment. So much beautiful petrified wood as well. The only thing that would have made it better is a boat or kayak for more access, and we had hoped we might run into you! Thank you for helping make our vacation memorable and successful! Your book is a wonderful guide, and we very much enjoyed reading it and using it as our tour guide! We hope to get back out there again sometime. Thanks again Katy!

when you held that agatized piece of wood up I almost cried oh I'm so jealous I'm just eating my heart out right now I do what you do in Tennessee but I don't know nearly as much about what I'm doing I just magnetize to these rocks and even some Indian artifacts I wish I knew more I just enjoy them so much and enjoy the outdoors so much, it's really hard to find women my age who enjoy the smell of moss and dirt the way that I do and have my whole life even when I was a kid I would play out in the woods and pretend the Moss was my carpet LOL but that's how long I've been picking up rocks I guess I always will I even pick him up in the driveway if I see one that wants to be picked up. the videos are wonderful for people like me I'm disabled and really not able to do the canoe anymore not by myself anyway I really miss it but I contracted Lyme disease 20 plus years ago and for the past four I've been disabled it sucks really bad it's not the worst of my problems so LOL I'm not one to give up God won't let me☺️ be safe and have fun!

I AM gonna get to see this for myself one day... love your content Katy! I'm so happy I've found like minded people on youtube.RU-vid.. it gets lonely being a rock hound when your all alone and no one understands the attraction of a "dirty old rock" 😪

As a rockhound and gold prospector, we kinda always go about our days in silence, enjoying the calls of birds , seeing occasionally spotted critters, and with one eye of ground and other making sure, we are safe but forever more looking for each special rocks

It is the season of blue Montana agates. Thanks for bringing up the water line/water level agate naming convention, because I was wondering when the heck the name changed. Thanks for sharing a nice Yellowstone Treasure hunt.

I think you should dub the reddish one a Sunset Agate. Is there a way to officially name an unusual find? Interesting!
