Darren Till said that he had a surprise for the local fans with his walkout at UFC Liverpool, and he did not disappoint as the Echo Arena was rocking as everyone sang along to 'Sweet Caroline'.
He has already surpassed this level, it's just that he got exposed by the better fighters. The UFC desperately needed next Conor so they took a gamble and fastracked him to the title shot thinking he'll be the one.
@@mennoheijboer6767 hendricks of peds not skilled, whittaker at that division is to deflated two different people to him, and the only thing that made the woodley first fight fun is that he got dropped ahah
That moment when he turns to the crowd, smiles as they sing sweet Caroline and thinks “my dreams have just come true”. Now THAT is what fighting is all about right there folks.
@@habibbialikafe339 But he's proved what a hard lad he is a real tough young hero through the beautiful punishing work he's accomplished in fights. A lad who knows what his fists are for and how to use them.
The moment where his coaches and everyone stop and look at Till before he goes in the octagon as the crowd sings in unison gives me chills . Best walkout ever 🔥🔥
Gotta be one of the greatest walkouts in mma history. The entire crowd is just singing along, the refs the cutmen and Bruce just full of smiles and joy
so beautiful, as an American I can say that England has the most genuine and real fans ever. Michael Bisping has done good and has passed the torch down well to this guy
@Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Us Americans are just spoiled. I’m always alive at events I go to, when much of the crowd is dead and looks at me crazy. I don’t get it!
Couldn’t agree more. Hype around Till was crazy at the time and everyone was getting involved. Such a shame he’s come up short so many times in the big moments, otherwise all the UK might still be screaming Neil Diamond every 6 months!
Rory Bray did everyone proud! He missed weight to get an advantage! That's called cheating but for some reason mma fighters get away with it... And he Def lost that fight. Wonder got more significant hits! No idea what the judges were taking...
I was there on Sunday and experiencing this walk out live with 10,000 + people all singing this song was amazing. By far one of the best walk outs in UFC history. Chills when I rewatch it.
Who else is back here after the Denmark match tonight where this Scouse tune was sung in Wembley?😅 I hope MMA gets more, even bigger moments than this in the coming years.
@@davidcastanheira4361 I guess Justin Beiber is the most entertaining musician and McDonald's has the tastiest food because your dumb logic suggests that popularity=entertainment/quality. The reason for football's popularity is its history and there being very limited sporting options in most countries and ofcourse British and european colonial rule. Cricket and baseball is more popular than mma. I guess they're the more entertaining sports.
Still one of my favorite walkout. His confidence walking out of that tunnel and raising his fist was something else! Then before he gets checked by the official he turns around and soaks it all in, must have been the coolest feeling getting the support of his home country like that
Now that's crowd participation! Damn thing gave me goosebumps! I originally thought coming out to Beatles, Helter Skelter, would be more fitting. But NOPE, this was PERFECT!
This was one of the greatest walk outs in all sports followed by one of the greatest technical fights followed by one of the greatest octagon interviews...fantastic night
Entrance gave me chills! Spectacular performance by Till. I was amazed by how easily he avoided the head kicks and how he was constantly coming forward. Great post fight interview as well. Overall a very memorable moment in the sport.
I'm not an Englishman, I'm not a huge fan of Darren Till, and I wasn't even rooting for him in this fight. But there's something about seeing someone get so much love from their hometown crowd that just gives me goosebumps and brings me back to this walkout every once in a while. The atmosphere was truly electrifying. Now, Till might have lost his last 2 but the man's striking skills are undeniable. I think he's a true force to be reckoned with at Middleweight.
I’ll never forget watching this fight here in New York at like 9 am and watching him come out and the U.K. had his back it made me a fan and amazed me one of the best walkouts of all time for sure !
