Hi mate thanks for your kind word. Lures a better for larger fish but only when rhe rivers aren't flooded. The Codger jointed surface lure from Trellys is a great, and affordable option.

They are bloody good done that way mate. One thing I didn't show on that video which I didn't realise I maybe should have is I flushed the guts and stuff out with fresh water before throwing on the BBQ. But I'm sure you probably knew that.. cheers mate have fun I'm at home working today...😭

@squiremc Trust me mate, there's no law that days it is an offence to release redfin. S.A. is the only staye where it truly is illegal. In all other states its just a massive myth.

@@robbiefishing All states have different fishing regs.....If I were you I'd take a careful look....for example....SA illegal to return Reddies to the waterways....Vic.....preferable not to return Reddies to the waterways....NSW some other rules apply....The Hume Weir is managed by fisheries Vic....but the do prefer Reddies not be returned to the waterways....look it up for yourself....no disgrace to be educated later in life....

@Rick Andersen I'm not sure why you need to be nasty about it just because my interpretation of the law is different than yours. Thays not cool man. But trust me. I do this for a living. I know the management of fisheries in each state and speak to them regularly. I speak at the events, even about redfin. I've had 21 million views on this channel and fisheries in both states have my number. I'm sure if itnwas in fact illegal I would have been contacted by now. I het contacted regularly about this by people in my youtube comments, yet fisheries never have a problem. Please don't be nasty. It's OK to have different interpretations of the law and different views but it's not OK to take cheap shots.
