Join me as I laugh and fumble my way through some amazing mainly freshwater fishing adventures. Fishing is all about fun, and that is what I try to capture on my videos. From lure casting for Murray cod to angling for carp with worms and everything in between, I just love it all and hope to capture my passion, excitement and adventure on camera.

I have a random thought, when you yeeted that Cray back in, I wondered if they have a sense of Gravity like we do & then wonder what must feel like for a creature who wouldn't normally expierece it (The Acceleration forces) ha ha! @robbiefishing 16 часов назад
Hey Mick, no mate I've never seen any evidence of a cod eating crayfish. I've heard they do, and read they do but I've never seen any evidence of it. I suspect that they may eat the really small ones, but these larger ones Id like to see evidence of it.

Robbie, a tip for keeping your worms healthy. Try NOT to handle them or dig thru the punnet with your bare fingers. Human skin has bacteria on it that worms can't handle & they can get sick & die prematurely! ONLY handle the worm you intend to hook up! Use a small stick to dig thru the dirt for them! I stopped using bare hands in my worm farm which is only populated BY Janjuc night crawlers and they have lasted me all year! Prev seasons all died on me by winter! If I need to dig thru the dirt, I put on a clean rubber or vinyl glove! Cheers!

I’ve been fishing the Murray up near walwa the past week and of course it’s been cod after cod with the odd Murray cray thrown in as well as a few trout, now using the smallest hooks I have and a single worm , I was hoping for yellow belly or Redfin, but at least now the carp are biting, I know you can catch and release cod this time of year but I hate to run the risk of harming one accidentally especially when it’s on its breeding run

@@JKFishing0138 Are you sure it was an eel you caught? there are no eels in the Murray darling system, Eels are only in creeks and rivers on the ocean/sea side of the dividing range. Eels are all born in salt water, as they develop they move into the fresh water of rivers and creeks down the east coast of oz where they will stay for up to about 30 years before they head back out to sea to breed somewhere out in the middle of the pacific ocean, they die after breeding but the little larvae/glass eels start it all again and make their way into the rivers and creeks along the east coast. Eels have an amazing life cycle. They are only in creeks and rivers on the east side of the deviding range. You may have hooked an eels tailed cat fish in the Murray darling but you definitely didnt hook an eel.
