Fishing the stick float on the river Wye at Hereford for chub, Dace and Roach. One of those red letter days catching a huge catch of chub in the winter on the town stretch of the River Wye.
Just watched your video with I really enjoyed and it's my most favourite way of fishing! I used to go on the river severn in Shrewsbury over twenty years ago and miss going like mad mainly hectic family and work life stops me travelling there. I should of gone to Ross on wye two yours ago with my best friend for the very first time but covid put pay to that. I hoping go in the near future with him down on the wye fingers crossed and this is just what I'm hoping catch !!
Mate, you could be two pegs away and not get a bite. However, get up early and be fortunate enough to get on the hot pegs and it's a day you will never forget. Tight lines my friend.
