I saw them live in Cleveland in 1993. By then, they only had 3 members, and they did "You Are Everything" as part of a 4-song medley, so I didn't get to hear them perform the whole song. It was still very memorable. My friend Matt & I were the only white people in the entire building. I was shocked. LOL! I really didn't care, though.

Diana's Ross's last hit song, "Missing You", which was her last Top 10, in 1984, was a tribute to her fallen friend, Marvin Gaye, who died a year earlier, in an altercation with his father.

This version was a hit in the UK,in I think about 1973. I remember it being on the radio. But if they haven't done any songs by the Stylistics yet they very much need to do some! You Make Me Feel Brand New or perhaps I Can't Give You Anything But My Love. I was playing one of their lesser known hits,Rock 'n' Roll Baby,on here not all that long ago. All those bring back some childhood memories from the mid-70s for me.

Forty-one years ago yesterday, Marvin Gaye sang the most iconic "Star Spangled Banner" at the 1983 NBA All Star Game. With all due respect to Whitney Houston, there simply has never been a better version of our national anthem before or since. I hope you react to it. You will be blown away.
