Kori Cowan-Brown has primary immunodeficiency disease which causes her to get weekly plasma transfusions and has resulted in 17 surgeries to treat polyps.
The family's home has had mold issues, so they live only in the top half of the house and has resulted in polyp formations for Kori. Her parents Andy and Heather worry about her health. So Ty and the team design a house that will suit Kori and her family the best.

Except when you do the research and find out how many of these homes were foreclosed on within 2 years after the build.. then you rethink about how great this actually is. It's sad really.😢

Wonderful family and wonderful Kori. I went to the I-Rok Foundation website and i found out that Kori has already passed away. She lost her battle. And that saddens me even more. Let this girl be an inspiration to everyone.

I also have weak immune system and other things like, no growth hormone working, no thyroid hormone working and diabetes insipidus from brain tumour. It was removed but had done such pressure on brain that hormones malfunction. Well done for helping this family extreme makeover home edition team!

Quite a few years ago, my aunt died of breast cancer. Sadly, she caught it too, too late; it had spread into her bone marrow. I hate to use this word. But, thankfully, I wasn't there to see what cancer does to the human body. My uncle could barely speak of it. It 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 destroys from within!!! The expression on David Cook's face told me all that I needed to know. He's right, too. I don't wish that on my own worse enemy!!!! So, seeing Cori just being so selfless and, amazing to her friend Alyssa in TOTALLY FREAKING RAD, DUDE!!!! CORI, HONEY, YOU ROCK, GIRL!!! Keep helping ta kick cancers butt!!!!

I have the same thing. I am a senior 62yrs old.I can not live in a house with mold.The family doctor told my mom and Dad I started getting sick at the age of 6yrs old.God bless that family
