I got a 2002 klx 300 been sitting 7 years all I did was clean carb and did fluids started first kick no choke on hot day incredible reliability Kawasaki

I like the original color scheme better, but nice refresh. I'd love to see a Matte black build off some day. Not a fan of chrome on motorcycles specially dirt bikes.

Sensational build mate it probably cost a small fortune but you would have to be happy with the way it turned out. Better than New in a lot of respects wheels, frame pivots etc, engine, suspension wow nice work mate cheers Happy Trails

My 97 has been sitting here on the Oregon coast for 11 years. Pulled it out and the weather here has wasted a lot of it. Was going to part it out but after seeing this how the hell can I do that? It still has a fresh built 2000 top end in it that actually fired up after a few kicks and still sounds brand new. Time to get out the air tools and get to work. Thank you for inspiring me to make it whole again.

I'm just coming to the end of doing my 97, it too was sitting for a few years outside and the fork uppers have badly pitted, impossible to find reaplacments so if yours are any good and you wanna sell them let me know otherwise mine are just gonna have to be shrink wrapped for now.

@@HAL-1984 Mine are too. Ebay has a few used for sale right now around $400. I might upgrade to a newer year fork or a set of Showa's. I wish I had this motor in a 99' frame. Just sayen..

@@RisingMoon697 trouble is I'm in the UK so I'm dropping big $ on postage & taxes so at those high starting prices it's difficult to swallow.. I'll wrap mine in heat shrink to hide the worst of it, structurally they are sound, maybe some will turn up this side of the pond one day!

@@HAL-1984 Copy. Might try to at least clean out the pits and bake in some alumaweld for filler. I was going to do that to mine and then triple powder coat. If your not racing it then you should be fine. Just keep an eye on them for any leaks. Good luck!
