Hey Im just curious how you sent your video and guitar recording to him? Just want to make sure I submitted mine right so I can rule that out as to why I'm not in here lol. I put both my video and guitar track into Google drive and then just emailed him the links. You think that was sufficient?
Honored to be featured in the video. Congratulations to the top 15, the honorable mentions, and all who entered; anyone who puts themself out there in a guitar contest is worthy of praise! Thank you.
Thanks so much, dude! Reall appreciate the kind words. I am still honored to have made it to the honorable mentions. Feel free to check out the channel if you feel so inclined!
Glad you liked it, man. Appreciate the kind words! I'm still very honored to have it to the honorable mentions. Feel free to check out the channel if you feel so inclined!
Today's fact: An interesting technological development is the use of vegetation waste to create methane, which in turn can be used to generate electricity!
Simply amazing talents, thanks Jared, for bringing them up. I am sure you got new ideas to propel and promote it further. What about your depressions? Shredded away by those awsome guys? Stay healthy. Greeetings.
Dont compare your progress or your achievements to others. Compare your present self to your previous self and rejoice in how much you've improved. This is how you truly experience satisfaction and motivation through improvement.
I'm sure you've had your reasons, I myself quit guitar for about 7/8 years because my guitar teacher destroyed my confidence in learning an instrument. I picked up my guitar again 3/4 ish years ago now and just went for it. Ignore what people say, don't compare yourself to others. I've been playing every day since because it's the one thing that gets me up in the morning. Learning is brutal, but playing is the most fun I've ever had. If you feel like ever starting again, just play for your own self. You might surprise yourself. ;D
i always compare them to myself, what do i say? I'll become better than them thats what i say i'll surpass them even f it takes me years to finally be greater than them
I honestly thought there were some more catchy/original shreds in this video over the top 10. There was like one very original sounding one in the middle of the top 10. Don't get me wrong, they all shred like kings!
Ricky Raines Totally agreed, in both videos everyone was amazing but yeah I noticed more original solos here, a couple really stood out too, compared to the top 15s vid which had more sound a like shreds (top tier, nonetheless) but I almost enjoyed this video more because of it! ✌️
Congrats to all the winners! I'll be honest, I'm a bit gutted that I wasn't chosen; normally I take a loss to a contest like a GD champ and eat it but I thought that my take was pretty solid this time and thought I had a shot. Oh well, on to the next! Thanks for hosting the competition man.
@@bradleestone5344 yeah. It's all good, this contest was as simple as 'what does Jared like in his solos', and what was gathered was that he likes super shredding solos, and I've lost contests by shredding too hard before so I kind of took a tasteful approach with a bit of shred. Rejection is hard, and when you're proud of something and think it's good and someone disagrees, it's hard. But! What can you do, it is what it is and the winners were all great in their own ways.
Jared Dines this video Rockssssss🤘🏼Dope compilation loving the whole vibe 🎼🎵💫 This just inspired me to do a compilation on my channel ❤️ #MusicisLife 🔊
I think I like this one better to be honest. Shredding is cool and all but that was literally all it was in the first video. I think this one is alot more melodic yet still has shredding and such. Has alot of cool tricks and techniques too
I wish each full submission could’ve been in here (what..like 30 seconds each?) Lemek Yisrael had a great extra few bars that were left out. Also Tippo Felangus, dude had the catchiest solo imo that went so well with the backing track. I loved that one. Micah Miller- bro your picking and originality is what’s blowing my mind that you weren’t in the top 15s vid, you had the most unique solo. Lwandile Prusent and Raoul Tchoi also some of my favorites. And ending with Tyler Di Palo was another more original take. Loved it! Also from earlier, Ian followed by Jason sounded soooo good TOGETHER. (Like one right after the other.) Oddly enough, Cody Puls wasn’t mentioned in the description with a link or even an ‘N/A’ sooo..? Idk. Jeez, everyone was so sick here. Way more interesting than the first video! 💕✌️
