Incredible thunderstorm in Haines City, Florida - 6th August 2019 

This is probably the worst thunderstorm video I have filmed and yet it's the one that blows up. I hate the RU-vid algorithm.

Florida, Thunder and Lightning Capital of the United States of America!!

These types of thunderstorms are normal where I used to live. Every day during summer at around dinner time we'd have thunderstorms like this after a hot day! :)

This is my dream. Seeing storms like that in real life is better than drugs. It's crazy how happy and excited I get when I see it coming. It's literally gives me a high. Great video.

After the storm weakened, it more than likely put out what's called an outflow boundary, which created more potent thunderstorms like this one here.

I love florida... the sun, the thunderstorms, the warmth, its so nice when i get to visit there :)

I'm from Texas, where we can get some vicious thunderstorms. Our thunderstorms have NOTHING on Florida's summer afternoon thunderstorms. Unfortunately, Florida's thunderstorms bring very little in relief from the heat and humidity.

I like thunderstorms I just hug my stuffed teddy bear and I close my eyes tightly and listen to the loud thunder which hasn’t happened since March this year

I never experienced Florida thunderstorms before! Only as far south as North Carolina, and even there, they're pretty intense!

It was real nice, staring at the alligator mesh, throughout the whole video.

That thunderstorm was amazing, but I have to admit, the pool bubbler sounded crispy and delicious.

That's such a Scary & ominous site but at the same time amazing to look at.

Problem with this is, from around 2:50, there really is nothing to see. It's just a "white" background with rain sounds. No reference to the outside or any points of interest in the frame

I miss the raging summer storms from the MS Gulf Coast. NC doesn’t even come close.

Looks like another ordinary day in Florida.

I live in Wauchula (about an hour’s drive away) and this is a typical summer day for the area. I am central Florida born and raised.

I've seen a handful of storms like this in Dallas, Texas

My family: I want to go to Disney world and see the fireworks. Me: Why do that when we have natural fireworks. Storms are amazing and the clouds are my favorite part of it all. Just the start of the formation got me guessing is it gonna be a tornado in there or what.

I can’t comprehend why you’re standing beneath that metal frame structure with a thunderstorm there. We get severe thunderstorms with lots of lightning in our summers near the Great Lakes (they build up crossing Lakes Michigan and Huron). That structure is up there with leaning against a tree. I love watching storms too, though: best I’ve ever seen was on Manitoulin Island at night. Full on lightning show!

You hadn’t been in Central Florida very long if you thought that was a bad storm. It was barely a normal Summer thunderstorm.

Florida is America’s little Australia if you come to think of it. The geographies are similar especially with the north eastern parts of Queensland and Northern Territory

??????? Ahhhhhh where's the storm? We're on the East Coast across from Kennedy's Space center & our storms (a regular afternoon thunderstorm) is way worse than that.. I'm disappointed.. I've got video of a couple of storms that would blow your socks off.. 😞

THIS ONE WAS ACTUALLY QUITE BORING, ESPECIALLY ONCE THE CAMERA WAS TILTED UP AT AN ANGLE!! NOTHING BUT "GREENHOUSE" AND WHITEWASHED GRAY SKIES!! VERY FEW CLAPS OF THUNDER AND THEY WEREN'T EVEN CLOSE!!
