I love thunderstorms, and this is the most amazing one I have ever experienced! It happened on April 22nd, 2020 at Toledo Bend Reservoir close to Negreet, Louisiana close the the Texas border. The video is 14 minutes long and had continuous thunder with a very heavy rain and wind storm toward the end.

I went through a storm exactly like this in Vermont back in August 2013. The storm producers so much intense lightning and just constant thunder. Great video!!!

I love thunder I live near Portsmouth England and we hardly ever get one that lasts longer than a few claps and a bit of lightning, would love to sit here beautiful

Love all the examples of His power and how they’re described as lighting, thunder and earthquakes. Woke up today to strong winds, fires, ash and dust in the sky here in California. Sounds like the opposite of heaven. But I sit here on my couch with my cup of coffee listening to teachings on the radio. Have some friends we met while on vacation in Tennessee who live in a nice rural area. Enjoy every evening sitting in their yard overlooking their valley and cattle watching the sun go down. They too inherited land. Actually she never moved off. Mary Anna is in 70s. Her family has been on the same land since the 1867. A land grant of a thousand acres. Over the years and through family hands it’s down to 90 and has no plans on dividing anymore. She has a son and daughter who claim they’ll never sell. Enjoy the day.

Great capture and a beautiful place to film a thunderstorm. Congrats! This is also a very unusual occurrence of cloud-to ground lightning, as the rain is mostly light throughout the video. The lightning activity is mostly concentrated in or near rain cores. It looks like the lightning is occurring in an area of light to moderate (stratiform) rain, which is not unusual, but the vividity of the lightning is remarkable. I hope to see some more thunderstorms video's :)

A beautiful storm with plenty of positive CGs! My suspicions are correct.. Storms born on high humidity have more dangerous lightning. Was the beginning of the video the start of the storm?

Eyyyy a storm in my home state, we do get a lot of storms here but not very many have this much lightning

Wow. Great capture of the sound! So i believe this was part of the April 2020 tornado outbreak, from my understanding probably a supercell thunderstorm ahead of a warm front.
