I saw a snowcone vendor use one of these to move his sales trailer onto the grounds of a high school football stadium next to the concession stand. He would not have been able to use his truck to position this trailer where he wanted it. Also, it allowed him to start moving the trailer sooner after the game was over.

I want one for my car hauler. moving that trailer into into spots using my 40 foot super C is a huge challenge. I have even thought about renting a uhaul truck just to park it in the storage lot.

It would work perfect for my driveway. I don’t have the space for a tow vehicle to position a trailer and still have access to my garage.

My trailer is 8’-6” wide and my garage door is 9’-0” wide then trim. I have the width of 2 fingers on both sides. My wedding band is a size 6. My wife and I use phones to communicate. The first time it took us some time but now we can back in from the street to the spot in the garage in one motion. My wife is my help mate and we work as a team.

I would say think about it this way... parking your trailer with the tongue against a wall makes it almost un-stealable...

Build one of these to move a 25k 5k pin 5er and I’m down. It’d be great to help folks move around some of the tight parks I’ve pulled into and out of over the years

They actually have some, they're usually about $45,000. It would be nice if trailer valet had something for around 6 to $7,000

I wonder how well it works on grass compared to concrete. While it may be cool, the slow speed from what I’ve seen so far seems impractical. But future videos may change my mind.

I could see some limited use for this like putting a pop up type trailer in a garage or storage unit some of those off grid trailers are pretty expensive to leave on a storage lot for all to see and mess with , besides it's a cool toy to play with

JD; At our first storage lot this would have been perfect. I only had a 1 lane turn area to back into a parking spot. With the length of the truck and camper I had to do about a 72 point turn. With this, unhook and then slide in. We are now in a VERY large lot and that makes things easier.

were you to be spending your money, would you lean towards this with the visibility during movement, or something like the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 10,000 lbs, also found on etrailer that is much cheaper, same general use case, can be "motorized" with a drill, but requires you to be at the front of the trailer while moving.

Honestly, I would probably get this. Mainly because I usually move my trailers around by myself and love the ability to spot the trailer from the rear.

Pretty cool if it's in your budget. If not they make some that use an electric drill or batteries that are cheaper on the budget. This kind of gets in the area where people buy best tugs to move their aircraft.

Hiring somebody with a truck to back up your RV, even if they are extremely skilled, will not give them the maneuverability that this can. Which means you can move your RV to a position or in a manner that no vehicle could possibly back it into.

In the truck video, for some reason you felt need to say you aren't rich. I really don't see why your income matters. What I will say is that it is incongruous to make the not rich point in that video then say a $4k robot is something you can see your wife getting you as a gift. I'd rather someone say that they work for what they have or not mention wealth at all. Either way is better than what I caught in terms of not making one seem out-of-touch with average American

I know quite a few people who aren't "rich" yet finance very expensive cool toys and gadgets because they help accomplish a task they couldn't otherwise do. You think everyone with a boat, or large TV, or high end tool, or RV for that matter pays cash?
