Incredible True Story of a Gun Saving a Life! 

I want to know why if it cost a minimum of $50K to defend yourself in a justified shooting how do all of these criminals keep getting out of jail? Something is really wrong with our system if good citizens have to burden such a cost but most offenders have extensive records.

When seconds counts, the police are only minutes away. But 40 of them?

The fact the police took 40 minutes to arrive on scene is actually why you should carry a piece and distrust the police.

She says she got a call from this man and he sounded stressed and she could hear police sirens in the background. He says he didn't get a chance to call USCCA until he got to the police station. What?

What I just learned: if I’m ever accused of a homicide while trying to protect myself these lawyers will require at least $50,000. At least. Such a racket.

Why should law abiding citizens have to worry about the legal outcome of defending their lives or their family's lives because of the Injustice System that defends murderous criminals??!!

I live in a community near Milwaukee, WI and there is a HUGE car jacking problem in Milwaukee County. I am waiting for a similar incident to happen in my community. Im glad there are groups like NRA, USCCA, and others. Responsible citizens need someone in their corner.

I got my CCP in January. After I started to carry, and started to consider what would or could happen after an incident, insurance was a no-brainer. I don't have $50k just laying around. I joined USCCA a few weeks ago. This sort of story just reinforces my decision. It's unfortunate that law abiding citizens defending themselves are treated no differently than the criminals who attack them. As least in this case, there is now one less such criminal to worry about.

I would let LE know that I have every intention to cooperate with them AFTER I go to the hospital then contact my lawyer. Thanks USCCA for making and posting this video. I have asked for videos like this in previous comments and it's nice to know someone is listening. I have been a member for over two years and as long as I can afford it, I will continue to be a member. I will gladly pay the fee and hope I never have to use the insurance because I hope to never have to use justified deadly force.

Why would you let him give a statement without an attorney present? They want you to change your story. That’s why RESPONSIBLE attorneys don’t let clients give a statement until things calm down.

She said she was awoken by a call Kenneth was scared and police sirens going off. Kenneth states he had to find someone to get the police call then later says he did not get a chance to call until he was taken to the division. Their wouldnt really be any sirens going off and most likely not a woman crying in the area of the division where he is making is phone call. He did not call from the scene from what he says so why would that be included?

I don't know too much about USCCA but I can tell you this woman has a raised eyebrow We are going to charge a premium price look to her face. And something tells me everything they're saying is valid as long as you're able to pay.

Pick a smart local lawyer, if he won't give his home cell # find one that will. Memorize it, i use my lawyers # for my gasoline rewards pin, so i know it well. Next besides basic, generic statement demand to see your atty before speaking of event. Cops union prevent them from a statement for 48 hours.

These justified shootings by civilians don't usually get publicity although they are not totally uncommon, that we will near hear the facts...

use the card and do what it says, the more you talk the more they can use that against you in a court of law you reverse psychology on them with the card

Forty minutes sounds like a stretch to have police to arrive after 911 call.They could of been occupied arresting 5 year old girls for selling lemonade at their stand without a sellers permit. Okay,so the local news clip says one guy,and one guy shot and killed.Then it states there were two guys.So were both shot and killed.....was it only one guy shot.....?Was it two guys shot and killed.....? Was it one guy shot and killed,and the other shot and wounded...?. So here Ken defends himself,his life,and then has to go through all this BS for defending himself.The system needs to be changed.The innocent defender becomes the criminal,or wrong doer for defending himself.Laws are to be made to set men free,but nowadays the laws are to enslave the free man,or I should say,so-called free man.
