The emergence of such water and underwater vehicles shows the rapid development of the era of science and technology. Technology has changed our life and our way of entertainment. There were diving suits and oxygen tanks before, but the emergence of this product can make us see the underwater world more safely.

I had that idea back in '79 when I built model boats as RC hobby and fitted one yacht with 100 small selenium sulfide solar cells from Tandy Electronics. They worked well with a 3V battery motor. Who would have thought that 40 years later they'd be running big boats?

GOOD FOR YOU!!! Maybe you should pull forward some of the other things you figured out back then!!! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, and it's usually the simplicity of seeing it as a child and/or looking at something from a practical and/or simplistic standpoint usually of young adults or older generations who always keep some of that youthfulness and/or the idea that it is possible open in their minds who come up with the best inventions. Some of what the military and best inventers have figured out in various ways is that when you tell someone/s something cannot "scientifically" be made or add on too many have tried and failed it is dang near impossible for a scientific group to accomplish the whatever if not impossible, yet if they didn't say anything negative towards a project it almost always gets completed very successfully. The military conducted a study way back. The benefit of youth is, you either don't know no one has been able to figure something out, or the way you wire something "shouldn't" work, etc. then more often than not youth or ignorance of something, can figure something out given the proper supplies.

On the Spymaster MiniSub the air does NOT come from a hose on the ship, it comes from the tank on the front of the sub. Breathing and depth control use the same tank. The "hose" you see in the video is NOT a hose; it is a rope, meant to keep people from wandering off. If you privately own one, you can use it untethered.

The owners of widebeam you showed, designed an English narrowboat that looked similar called Valhalla (I guess the name of the new boat is a first letter pun on the name). NB Valhalla was on the Kennet and Avon canal earlier this summer. It then passed down the river Thames onto the Grand Union at Brentford. I am surprised you did not mention Electric Hydrofoil Surfboards. I saw one on the Thames recently -- they are literally on another level.

You really either need to read the description of the SpyMaster Mini Submarine, or look at the video. The air supply is not pumped through a tube from the surface, and the depth is not controlled by a tank. The video shows a rope to the surface, and a SCUBA tank providing air.
@gordonrobertson4125

The last one was my favorite. People talk about the "future of mankind", but what makes any future for humanity intangible, is what they never mention when the topic is in discussion, and that's the hefty price that comes with it, for which most of us can never afford. I don't see myself paying $18 for a ride in something that simply looks "different" than anything we've seen before. Is that what makes things "futuristic", the fact that we haven't seen it before, and if that's the case, surely something from the past for which we've never seen, would look just as "futuristic". I doubt we really understand the concept of "progress", and would we recognize the future if we were to see it? Those back in the Roman days had no ideal they were living in the past, any more than those today realize we are no different than they, so what then is the "future", but just another empty promise to line their pockets with wealth, as they enjoy the "present" for as long as their hearts remain beating, then they go to the graves to join the ancients before them, and to be judged by the Word of God.

I got into one of those personal subs and there was no air in the bubble! I could not breathe. After signaling to the diver, he finally opened the valve from the air tank. The irresponsible operator was filling the air tanks on board the boat, while the engine was running.
@wedgie502
@wedgie502 2 года назад
i would have to call bullshit on this since scuba air is filled using specialized equipment that filters the air going into the tanks. im pretty sure that any "diving" company would have to get their equipment certified by their local government before operating.

But where to moor/park it. 69 feet is way too much to deal with. There was a FREE 40 foot fiberglass shell sailboat (unfinished project ) near Vancouver in 2019 that would have been great for some similar conversion use. I also love the surfboard idea but can't figure out the $12,000 price. I had an older windsurf board which I cut in half since I gave up on the idea of using it and i have a battery motor so maybe I could jimmy something out of it...but not fast.:)
